I'm asking the prayer warriors on this site to please say a prayer for my nephew, Alex. He's 7 and was just diagnosed last night with MRSA. They cleaned the spot out (on his little behind) and have begun anti-biotics and are waiting for the culture to come back before they begin a more aggressive treatment.

Dear Lord
Alex is ill. Touch him, I beseech Thee,
with the healing grace of Jesus Christ and make him well.
You gave him life and You have the power to renew his life.
We put him in Your kindly and loving hands, knowing that no harm can come to him while in Your care,
whether on earth or in heaven.
I believe in Thy power to heal the sick. Through faith, the
tremendous healing force of God the Creator re-creates.
I hold this loved one up to Thee and humbly ask that You will
lay Your hands upon him and restore him, even as
You did to those about whom we read in the Bible.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever, and
You, Dear Lord, can give new health and strength to our dear one.
This we humbly and earnestly request in Jesus’ holy name.
Amen.
