I've seen up close the two Clintons America knows. He's a big smile, hand locked on your arm and lots of charms. "Hey, come down and speak at my library. I'd like to talk some politics with you."
And her? She tends to be, well, hard and brittle. I inherited her West Wing office. Shortly after the 2001 Inauguration, I made a little talk saying I appreciated having the office because it had the only full-length vanity mirror in the West Wing, which gave me a chance to improve my rumpled appearance. The senator from New York confronted me shortly after and pointedly said she hadn't put the mirror there. I hadn't said she did, just that the mirror was there. So a few weeks later, in another talk, I repeated the story about the mirror. And shortly thereafter, the junior senator saw me and, again, without a hint of humor or light in her voice, icily said she'd heard I'd repeated the story of the mirror and she
did
not
put
that mirror in the office.

What’s a “Dwarve”?
Yep, send Fred out there with a cucumber and he’ll take care of her. :p
I don’t don’t get the cucumber thing, what is that about?
Here we go folks - the shouting has started - the ONE and ONLY issue that will once again hi-jack every thread - the drum beat that ended up putting the democraps like pelosi and reid in power - starts again...
It isn't going to matter what other issues we want/need to talk about - we are going to be shouted down BORDERBORDERBORDERBORDERBORDERBORDERBORDER
How to beat Hillary? ...a stinging parody web site tailored to independent voters exploiting Hillary’s biggest negative - trust. There are plenty of anti-Hillary sites out there, but most of them are lame, corny, or so anti-Hillary they turn non political people off. We have to use the formula Comedy Central uses - ridicule via comedy that’s tied to political analysis.
Just think about how fun it would be to parody Hillary’s site and substitute her poll tested issue pages with the reality of her record?
Or creating pages for all of her “constituencies” like women, latinos, illegals, unions, environmentalists, gays/lesbians and all the rest with the real reasons she supports them tied to her ratings from related special interest groups along with her voting record and evolving stances through the years.
Using the power of the internet to bypass the MSM pro-Clinton filter is the way to go, especially with the widespread use of web video. Something like this would also get tons of free press and viral potential by utilizing the latest in internet marketing tactics.
Many people hate Hillary. I have never seen Bill Clinton, Al Gore, even Kerry, elicit the kind of dislike people have for her. It goes beyond simple politics, many people whom I consider centrist or even boderline liberal despise her.
That said, she has been methodically preparing for this since her sanate victory, and strategically the election is hers to lose. To defeat her we will need someone who is charming, who can be a contrast to the fundamental repulsion people feel towards her. Completely ignoring the issues, and looking exclusively at presentability, Huckabee would be good, Romney is also OK.
And there it is, the naked truth of the matter, by the time we remove our heads from our posteriors Hilde will be far ahead and with Cheerleaders in the OSM supplementing her huge war chest.
It’s an alternative plural of “dwarf”.
This actually fits in quite well with Rove’s story about Hillary letting him know she did not appreciate him telling anyone about the mirror in her office. She probably didn’t put the mirror there. But heaven forbid anyone think something about her that might possibly.... be.... true.
The real woman must never be revealed.
It must really be awful to be her.
Something to keep in mind folks...
If CNN was willing to lie for Saddam, just what do you think they are willing to do getting Hillary! elected?
We have our work cut out for us...
Man you got that right. Most of the posts appear to be from people so incensed by Rove's mere presence that they can't even discuss the points he is making. Several moonbats posted multiple times in a row :/
’ And shortly thereafter, the junior senator saw me and, again, without a hint of humor or light in her voice, icily said she’d heard I’d repeated the story of the mirror and she did not put that mirror in the office.”
everything i have ever seen about her from 1992 forward implies she is vindictive and utterly humorless. nothing I am seeing now changes that, and if she is elected it will in great part be due to the media sheltering her from actually having to do anything to win the election, such as the cnn fraud debate last week.
“He said he began laughing in astonishment as he realized that he was standing in a shrine...Hillary’s shrine to herself!”
I don’t know why people are so slow to see that she is truly evil. Ted Bundy evil. Charles Manson evil. Pol Pot evil.
“Reading the comments on the Newsweek article is truly enlightening about the Liberal mind. Scary.”
All leftism, from the limousine liberalism of a Russell Crowe to the murderous rage of a Joseph Stalin, is of and from Satan.
Of course it’s scary.
Considered and taken to heart -- not just because it's his, but because I read it, and it makes sense. But it shouldn't be treated as sacred writ -- his advice didn't do the job in '06.
All we need to beat Hillary is a credible alternative.
You would think that would be easy, but then we’ve got these “front runners” who sound like they’re being coached on how to sound like a conservative.
Sounds like a good idea. She’s very mockable. She’s so self-serious in her sociopathic ambition, so humorless — her crazy cackle notwithstanding.
Well, maybe she had one of the Marines or Secret Service put it there for her. The question is..was the mirror there before she occupied the office?
. . . which naturally leads you to question the wisdom of nominating Guliani. Thompson isn't exactly my idea of a dream candidate (too close to McCain on CFR, for example), but unless Romney can make me believe, he's the closest thing we seem to have on offer. And here I admit that I do not seriously consider anyone below Huckabee in the polls. Any more than I consider that I should be the nominee - even though I agree with my own stands on the issues 100%.
The plural of dwarf is dwarves. Just as the plural of calf is calves.
