They were just trying to collect donations for American troops. But the Boy Scouts end up getting busted by the City of Cambridge.
All their boxes were taken down at polling stations for being too "pro-war." FOX25's
Ted Daniel reports from Cambridge with details.

Even, worse, this Weinerman hussy is now claiming that the Boy Scouts did not get permission, when they had in fact done so twice. What a liar and a coward for refusing to talk about the issue on camera, instead hiding behind the ubiquitous written statement!

I’d start with the Mayor. It was election day so he probably wasn’t on one of his taxpayer funded vacations with his “husband”. Yes, he gets a $40,000 a year travel budget.

Pro-War is a codeword for “Pro-American”.
Yes, the Boyscouts are too Pro-American.

Lots of comments on the Cambridge Chronical webpage about the story
Cambridge boots Boy Scouts, calls support for soldiers 'pro-war', By Matt Dunning/Chronicle Staff Wed Nov 14, 2007, 10:57 AM EST
Seems like some of the locals didn't like the removal of the boxes.
From the article:
Weinerman cited a law that prohibits political messages near any polling station in an election. But state law prohibits political messages pertaining to a particular election within 150 feet of any polling station, according to a spokesperson for Secretary of State William Galvins office.
There is no law stopping someone from promoting an unrelated political message within 150 feet of any polling place.

Any group that thinks the Boy Scouts are the enemy is a group that itself is an enemy of the United States of America, pure and simple.
Where were these jackasses when their dead sons were being buried for giving their lives defending this country? NOWHERE.
I’ll tell you where the Boy Scouts around here were, standing in the rain for 5 hours to provide the motocade a silent honor guard to their last resting place!
Cambridge should be expelled from the union, let the muslims have it, and see how they enjoy being beheaded in the streets.

This is SICKENING. Supporting the troops is “pro-war?”

This is like the third thing I have seen on the Boy Scouts this morning, yet again under attack by freaks from the left.

In Cambridge??? The Scouts would have been okay if only they’d been pushing for the takeover of industry by the urban proletariat, or the collectivization of agriculture...

Agreed.
I would add this to the discussion:
Why is being pro war wrong? War is a very serious and awful matter. If we as a nation decide to go to war, shouldn't we be 'pro war' with the intention of winning? Victory is almost a bad word now but isn't that what we seek when we decide to go to war? I suppose an opposing argument would say that 'pro war' is an abomination, for how could anyone be for something so awful?
To this argument I would reply that it is obvious that no one is 'pro war' but 'pro war effort'. I guess I just find it hard to believe that some people need that spelled out for them. Sheesh!

I already sent them a donation. I have dealt with those radicals before in Cambridge. The stories would be unreal to most of America.
