It's a big day for political TV ads, and in the case of Fred Thompson, he's got great timing. On the same day Rudy Giuliani releases his first TV ad, and the day Gov. Eliot Spitzer (D-N.Y.) decides to withdraw his plan to give illegal immigrants access to driver's licenses, the former Tennessee senator releases a 30-second spot called, "No Amnesty." It starts airing across Iowa today.

Fred’s ad is very good! I believe Fred will do much better in Iowa than the current polls show. In about 50 days we will know. :)
We cannot allow the election to be decided between a New York Mayor and a New York Senator for the rest of the country. I know all about NY and I’m not going back.
I have to wonder what the poll question is. If they ask ‘If the election were held today who would you vote for?’ That could easily change between now and next week. Nothing seems like it is set in cement.
It seems there needs to be adjustments, and one of them for Fred is to start running campaign ads. We shall see.
I’ll study that and will weigh your endorsement.
According to the betting site intrade.com Fred Thompson is gaining against Rudy, but he still ranks 6th in the GOP race, behind Giuliani(41.2%), Romney(31.5%), Paul(8.2%), McCain(7.5%), and Huckabee(7.3%). Thompson is rated by the bettors to have a 6.7% chance of becoming the Republican nominee.

Drop that line and you have a great post.

I rest my case...
This alone goes a long way towards getting my vote.
Yep!
Yup. Speaking out against amnesty has been SOP for all the amnesty proponents in the GOP.
Short and to the point.

Hunters criticism of Thompson over this issue is well aimed. We need someone in the white house who isnt a johnny-come-lately on this issue.

One thing prediction markets are better at their only bias is whether someone can make money trading the futures contracts.

Still a lie.
Nope, still a lie. Not a percentage, just a futures price.
Oh, cool, it’s Petronski coming in and bumping the thread with his nonsense. Or was that her nonsense? We never did clear that up. I checked today and Fred was at 6%, with an upward looking trend to 6.5 or so.
