Gore Announces Definitely NOT Running; Kos Kids Whimper, Go Into Deep Mourning [Vanity]
Me | 11/13/2007 | Me

The embittered leftist loons over at the Daily Kos cesspool are all still reeling in shock and dismay over having received the following communique from Karen Wunderman, Chief of Staff at AlGore.org:

"Dear AFG Steering Committee Members:

"We have received a communication from a member of Al Gore’s staff discouraging our efforts to put Al Gore’s name on any primary ballots. This includes California, New York, Massachusetts, and the write-in effort in New Hampshire, as well as any other states that are working to get him on the ballot. Accordingly, effective immediately, we are recommending that all groups cease their signature collection and related fund-raising activities."

Anyone interested in pointing and laughing as the fringiest of the fringe vermin work their collective way through the Five Stages of Grief should absolutely, positively check it out.

Good times, people. Good times. ;)

“Does this mean, Gore has to give his Oscar and Nobel Peace Prize back?”

From his cold dead hands...

Gore as SoS? And Bubba running rampmant as an ambassador-at-large? the thought of it is so depressing!

He doesn’t want a poor showing during the primaries. At the democratic convention, when the candidates are ready to slaughter each other, Fat Albert will descend from the heavens and humbly accept the nomination.

I think you're right - he doesn't want to have to participate in the rough-and-tumble of the primaries, merely be chosen as the Dems' saviour come convention time. That fits his ego and his opinion of himself.

He will not be an ambassador, for all intents and purposes, he will assume the Presidency.

Regardless of the persona she and her handlers project, she is still Bubba’s woman. I cannot help but get a sense of an abused woman who is insecure, scared, and in way over her head. Every time she tries to ‘be herself’, she fails.

No, she is in Bubba’s hands and (for the most part) does what she is told. She cannot survive without him.

This really is bad news.

You and me both. I'd liked to see his large rear end kicked again.

The midget that runs dailykos is way way overhyped as to his actually political influence. His track record displays this rather conclusively.

He doesn’t want the demotion from planetary messiah to mere president of the USA.

At first I laughed when I read this.
But then I realized Gore probably does see himself as some kind of messiah...he's that delusional.

“This could either mean that Algore is getting out or that Algore is getting in in a coordinated fashion, and needs to clear out the weeds before he plants the garden.”

Yes. And I think it means he WILL run after Hillary finishes doing herself in!
