Absolutely, such as the Russians assisting with weather reports making sure it was overcast when very large trucks transported bio & chem weaponry into Syria, later some 50% relocated to central Lebanon (controlled by Syrian & Iranian backed Hezballah)!

There are those on Capitol Hill, on both sides of the political isle yet that are more then aware of the facts, yet entire bunch continues perpetuating the ongoing Big Lie 'there were never any WMD 'in Iraq' ---- because they were moved out of Iraq, they forget that portion.

How long will it be before we find out the Russians convoyed Saddam’s most sensitive program-design nuke/WMD stuff to Syria where it was among the targets hit in that secret raid several months ago?

Seems the New York slimes only likes to leak “intelligence” that makes our administration look bad, not the successes. And of course the lefties won’t believe anything unless it’s published by the New York slimes or broadcast on al Jazeera!

Many of those “secrets” are recorded in the captured Iraqi documents that the Dems insisted be pulled from public view for “security reasons”.

Some of it was nuclear work and it’s likely that some of what the Israelis destroyed was sneaked back in from Libya for further development by the Syrian experts who had also returned and continued working on WMDs inside Syria.

I wrote a post about this a few weeks ago. My take on this:

The Iranians and Norks realize that they are watched very closely and they want to have it both ways. The Iranians want to carry on their efforts to obtain a bomb without being attacked and destroyed by the US. The Norks want to carry on making more bombs and don't want their fuel and food cut off or worse by the US.

The best of both worlds for them is to secretly OUTSOURCE to a country that's a friendly ally; Syria.

Unfortunately for Syria, Israel and the US got a whiff of the scheme and bombed the Syrian site with stealth aircraft (ours) with Israel as cover or Israeli aircraft with our anti-radar detection technology. It really doesn't matter which but the Norks jumped up and down, the Syrians and Iranians were quiet.

I believe some major Nork equipment and materials were pulverized and couldn't be replaced that easily. Syria was quiet because they didn't lose anything except their ego and didn't want to admit getting into nukes. Iran was quiet because they didn't want to admit complicity and explain why they didn't somehow "retaliate" and fulfill their bravado against Israel. That would have shown them as the cowards they are for the whole Middle East and the world to see.

I don't think Libya was ever involved because Qaddafi is not as trusted as Assad.

my family military friends say the exact same thing.........post Saddam we recovered very damning documents about enabling Saddam his freedoms........Some Americans names were also on the list,I’m told

Saddam was terrified of Iran and he always believed that Iran was going to take revenge on him by nuking Iraq or bombing them with Chemical and biological weapons. That is why it would have been impossible for Saddam regime to stop his WMD programs not only to face Iran but also to control his population (use Chemical weapons).
