(11/6) Which one of the following candidates should pro-life conservatives rally behind to defeat the liberal abortionists Hillary and Giuliani?
(Excerpt) Read more at freerepublic.com ...
“ronpaul sees himself (or his supporters see him) as that idealistic emperor.”
Well, nothing could be farther from the truth. Paul would disassemble the empire including the Department of Education, the Department of Energy, he would allow a parallel money that could not be taxed (real money) and eliminate the income tax. He would do as Ron Reagan did and bring the troops home —remember the marine barracks?
We don’t see him as anything like a savior or an emperor. We only see him speaking truth to power.
“In political science, a guy much smarter than I am once said, “There is much to learn and little to do.” Ron Paul’s Big Plan is that there is no Big Plan. That is what Ron Paul stands for, and more importantly, what the club full of 20-somethings stands for. They don’t want any grand visions rammed down their throats and, more importantly, they don’t want to ram them down anyone else’s. They lack the egotistical arrogance that socialism requires for its implementation”
The GOP used to stand for that.. the feds should stop cramming grand central plans down our throat and the 20-somethings and a whole new group seeing something worth following are waking up to these ideas.
My smarts? you mean the movie lines?
As you said, our freedom is so precious, so if that is your concern, then please look at the fact that we have a number of unconstitutional, subversive agreements that are going through, and we are losing our country. Look at the link to the video I posted above, about the NAU. THAT is the threat, it's just one step closer to something that is very bad news for everyone. It's time to set aside partisanship, or party, and look at what is happening to our country and our constitution. Please.
Remember how the more frothing and intractable Rudybots were handled here, about six months or so ago...?
Good times, Jim. Good times. ;)
Ping, the cult of Paul is active today and the koolaid is flowing.
zotworthy
We stand for freedom. The Jihadist can not tolerate freedom in their quest to spread their influence and religion over all.
NAU won't mean much if the vermin succeed in their stated goals.
Ron Paul offers no (sane) solution for being rid of terrorism. What I have made out of his policy "If we don't make them mad, they won't attack us."
The problem with this is our very existence and our culture that spreads through the world though movies, TV and the internet makes them mad. It makes them furious.
Will Ron Paul stop our cultural influence at the border so we don't make them mad?
BS!!!
BS? Boy scouts?
Why aren't you concerned with the politicians who are actually pushing for the NAU?
Thank you! This Ron Paul thing is beginning to get a little rediculas. This is a serious site for Conservative activism...not RINOISM!
Big time.
Have you heard of ‘Read the Bills’ Act? Imagine.. you have to read the bills and have to put the complete bill on-line for 7 days on the Internet before the vote.
We have the Internet now; no more excuses .. like “I didn’t know the Real ID was inside that bill”. but we need an ARMY to force the issue.
Paul was also one of the first funders of the TransTexas Corridor.. sneaking in funding throught he backdoor while he claims to be against it. He has the distinct advantage of being on every side of a lot of issues, yet people like you give him a pass.

So, why has Paul voted over and over again to prevent the military and national guard from securing our border? Why did he say a border fence ‘isn’t that important’?
Paul is a moderate libertarian opportunist.
Place marker.
“I knew Pa Kettle and Ron Paul is no Pa Kettle”
“Experience should teach us to be most on our guard to protect liberty when the government’s purposes are beneficent ....the greatest dangers to liberty lurk in insidious encroachment by men of zeal, well-meaning but without understanding.” — Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis
Less is more in a federal government.
Don't be fooled.. Paul is no Conservative. Votes speak louder than rhetoric.
Ron Paul's 2006 American Conservative Union rating: 76% Lifetime Rating: 82.3%

Let's also not forget Paul's Pork Projects (that he voted for before he voted against when he calls them unconstitutional but he is just playing the game when he submits them because everyone else does it.. yadda yadda yadda..)
Paul also supported the NAU superhighway by funding the TransTexas Corridor
By buying into the 9/11 “Truther” conspiracy BS?
LOL. If you believe in the 2nd Amendment.. voting for waiting period changes, etc. is an oxymoron.
By the way Canada’s The Walrus magazine: “Ron Paul’s ultimate impact on the tone of the race is hard to predict; many of the themes of his campaign would be hard for other Republicans to get behind. (Except perhaps Mitt Romney, who can apparently get behind anything.) But we can safely predict that as you read this, Paul’s opponents are parsing his campaign, trying to figure out which nerve he touched and how they might do the same. Ideas and positions that weren’t considered politically viable two weeks ago are right now getting a second look and the Republican Party leadership had nothing to do with it.”
The campaign is changing on both sides because he is speaking about real issues. If only for that benefit, god bless him.

Paul has refused to release these newsletters but unfortunately for him, not everyone destroyed their copies. (Thanks to LSUFan)
