No sarcasim intended. I hadn’t heard about the vulture problem in India.

Oh. I thought you meant that you hadn't heard that environmentalists are not concerned about environmental issues, per qam1's statement quoted in your post:

What, the envoironmentalists not be concerned about environmental issues? I find that hard to believe. /s

Actually, the way I worded it you came up with a reasonable take on it. That last sentence didn’t adequately relate what was on my mind. Heh heh heh (sheepish grin)

The primary concern of the so-called “environmentalist” is to force fascist regulation via unelected bureaucrats on every business, tree and blade of grass in the world. It’s long past time to round them up and ship them one-way to live in North Korea with their Marxist brotherrs.

China is almost single handedly causing the bulk of pollution on the entire planet, notwithstanding exporting leaded paint and poisonous beads to contaminate the world’s children.

And the outcry from environmentalists is ????? Crickets chirping.

Because the Chicoms are their fellow travelers.

The environmentill move-mint is about money, and always has been. It's about putting the small private domestic firm out of business and empowering the owners of global multinational corporations.

This may be true for the insiders who actually run the foundations and non-profits, but the author's point still holds for the rank and file of these movements. The protesters carrying signs, the idiots who contribute $50 to the Nature Conservancy instead of paying their bills, these are often motivated by rebellion against "The Man."

Well thank goodness we still have plenty of vultures in Texas so we can send them some breeding stock. We can start by sending them all our politicians that enjoy toll roads so much.

If the rank and file were truly concerned, they would act independently of the whims of the financiers. As the article says, nada.

There isn't an NGO spokesmouth in the country that would risk making such a statement or would allow the rank and file to use their name in such an enterprise. That's because their organizations subsist off grant money. Thus the rank and file rarely even learns of habitat degradation or species loss abroad, unless there's something in it for their sponsors. An example is the Three Gorges Dam, which reduces global demand for fossil fuels, the stockholders of the suppliers of which are the principal sponsors of the environmental move-mint. Energy shortages are very good for spot pricing.

President Bush is causing this. Look at the Democratic vultures that he has disposed of in the last few months.
Besides it is due to global warming.
Turn the lights out in LA and watch the vultures return.
