11/09/2007 Kerry Spokesman Sets Limbaugh Straight on Swiftboat Smears
WASHINGTON D.C. – Kerry spokesman David Wade issued the following statement today in response to Rush Limbaugh, who said on his radio show that Kerry’s Swift Boat attackers in 2004, “were right on the money and nobody has disproven anything they claimed in any of their ads, statements, written commentaries, or anything of the sort.”
“At first I thought, that’s not Rush, that’s just the OxyContin talking. Nonetheless, this is a despicable but unsurprising new lie from a man whose closest brush with combat came when customs officials tried to take away his Viagra. This portly peddler of hate is once again wrong on the facts. John Kerry served his country with honor in Vietnam, and has fought for his fellow veterans ever since. The lies and smears of the Swift Boat Veterans for Bush were disproved conclusively in 2004 by the men who fought by John Kerry’s side in Vietnam, by the military’s own records, by investigative journalists, and by the incredible contradictions that exposed these right wing smear artists. It is long past time that we end the politics of fear and smear that we have seen used against decorated veterans from John McCain to Max Cleland and John Kerry. Rush Limbaugh’s ignorance and determination to divide Americans is just another reminder that you can’t spell ‘Rush Limbaugh’ without the letters L-I-A-R.”

The Swift Boat Men are true Patriots and honorable to the core. John Kerry has never had the right to be a United States Senator and surly by now, most thinking people understand how wrong it would have been for him to be POTUS.
And you can't spell 'John F'n Kerry' without the letters J-E-R-K-O-F-F.

Lots of specific rebuttal claims. I didn’t follow the many FR threads enough rebut this rebuttal - will leave that to others.

Yeah, the Boston Globe and of course they will NEVER release them. Kerry did it just so he is able to claim he did release them.
We can assume that Rush licked his oxycotin habit. I guess we can assume spokesman David Wade licked Kerry.
LOL. Jon Cary’s anus, er spokesman, spews again! I just read the “Media Matters” page on this - naturally they do not manage to defend Jon Cary on even one point of substance, they merely smear the Swift Boat Vets and also Rush Limbaugh. For people who say they hate “smears” the vicious Demagogues sure do spend a lot of time and energy name-calling and smearing anyone who gets in their way.
Hey, Jon Cary, just sign the d——d form SF-180 and release ALL the records as you had pledged to do....
btw, whatever the facts may be about Jon Cary’s decorations, etc. there is NO doubt about what Jon Cary said and did after his return to the USA - how he smeared his fellow servicemen as the hordes of “Genjis Khan” and cooperated energetically with our nation’s enemies to work for our defeat. I always thought THAT should have been the main focus anyway, since it was indisputable to all but the most ardent leftists that Jon Cary had smeared everyone in the military and allied himself with the most treasonous elements in the American left.

The accusations against Kerry were never put to rest, and there were tons of swift boat vets who questioned Kerry’s integrity.
