Obviously, I never read their book, although I did contribute. Thanks for the info. Just like the MSM to hide the big issues, isn’t it?
Yes it is. I do remember the media only discussing part I (Kerry's time in Vietnam and the medal controversy) of the "Unfit for Command" book, but I can't remember them ever mentioning the stuff from part II, other than Hanoi John's 1971 Senate Testimony.
I've still got my copy of the book. I believe part II was/is far more damaging to Kerry and if it was fully and honestly reported on (or even better exploited by the Swiftboatvets), Kerry's campaign would have been sunk then and there.
Here is how the table of contents for part II of Unfit for Command reads:
Part II: Antiwar Protester
Six: A Testimony of Lies..........99
Seven: Meeting with the Enemy.....123
Eight: Kerry's Antiwar Secrets....139
Nine: Kerry's Communist Honors...167
Ten: Unfit for Command.........175
You can see that the Swiftboatvets gave plenty of coverage in their book to Kerry's trip to Paris and his other anti-war and treasonous activities after he returned home from Vietnam, but the media refused to discuss this.
