11/09/2007 Kerry Spokesman Sets Limbaugh Straight on Swiftboat Smears
WASHINGTON D.C. – Kerry spokesman David Wade issued the following statement today in response to Rush Limbaugh, who said on his radio show that Kerry’s Swift Boat attackers in 2004, “were right on the money and nobody has disproven anything they claimed in any of their ads, statements, written commentaries, or anything of the sort.”
“At first I thought, that’s not Rush, that’s just the OxyContin talking. Nonetheless, this is a despicable but unsurprising new lie from a man whose closest brush with combat came when customs officials tried to take away his Viagra. This portly peddler of hate is once again wrong on the facts. John Kerry served his country with honor in Vietnam, and has fought for his fellow veterans ever since. The lies and smears of the Swift Boat Veterans for Bush were disproved conclusively in 2004 by the men who fought by John Kerry’s side in Vietnam, by the military’s own records, by investigative journalists, and by the incredible contradictions that exposed these right wing smear artists. It is long past time that we end the politics of fear and smear that we have seen used against decorated veterans from John McCain to Max Cleland and John Kerry. Rush Limbaugh’s ignorance and determination to divide Americans is just another reminder that you can’t spell ‘Rush Limbaugh’ without the letters L-I-A-R.”

He was unhinged and embarrassing. I don’t think I can bring myself to watch that again. Once was bad enough. Yikes. Wasn’t he given a time-out after that ridiculous display?
And, I'm pretty he was promised a job in the Kerry administration.
Don't forget that Kerry allegedly joined the Swift Boat squadron because they weren't in Vietnam, at least at the time.
Ohh Ohh and what about the release of all your medical records John... bandaid Purple hearts.... is that what you are afraid of?
And, what is really frosting is saying that "Rush Limbaugh is dividing America.." Who is dividing America? Who is trying to tear the country down? Who accuses our troops of being Nazis and murders?

Notice, kerry never did reveal his military records. Nor does he dispute only ONE person in his service group actually supported him.
I think he was “purple hearted” out in order to get rid of an incompetent officer. BTW notice how he never used his brief stint as a prosecutor as a resume issue of substance.

A Kerry epilogue is surfacing as we write! No thread yet (I don’t think) because the ‘Media’ won’t pick this one up either, but the BBC has. John Kerry’s evil twin Ieng Sary (Cambodia), Pol Pot’s executioner is actually going to be tried by the UN! So another 1.7 million of John Kerry’s dead will soon be surfacing...soon be seared into his memory. Gotta wonder if Pol Pot, Ieng Sary, and Kerry were ever in Paris at the same time, just wondering out loud.

Gosh, maybe Kerry should have his staff draft a letter smearing Rush, and calling him a liar, then have as many RAT senators as he can muster sign it and send it to Clear Channel.
I’m sure you’re aware, no one holds his ‘service’ in Vietnam, short tho’ it was, against him. 99% of those of us who find him disgusting are those he accused of being War Criminals in April, 1971. Some of us were harmed by that one Senate session more than others for 30+ years. But most of us have another 30years for payback. Those of us who don’t stick to our guns are either 1) not doing our jobs; or 2) dead.

I've seen lots of liberal chutzpah over my years, after all, they know regardless of how bad they step in it the media will cover for them, but when I saw John Kerry trying to trade on his Vietnam service in the Dem convention I was stunned. Like most vets of a "certain age" I still remembered that liar's testimony. And it turns out, I wasn't alone!
