11/09/2007 Kerry Spokesman Sets Limbaugh Straight on Swiftboat Smears
WASHINGTON D.C. – Kerry spokesman David Wade issued the following statement today in response to Rush Limbaugh, who said on his radio show that Kerry’s Swift Boat attackers in 2004, “were right on the money and nobody has disproven anything they claimed in any of their ads, statements, written commentaries, or anything of the sort.”
“At first I thought, that’s not Rush, that’s just the OxyContin talking. Nonetheless, this is a despicable but unsurprising new lie from a man whose closest brush with combat came when customs officials tried to take away his Viagra. This portly peddler of hate is once again wrong on the facts. John Kerry served his country with honor in Vietnam, and has fought for his fellow veterans ever since. The lies and smears of the Swift Boat Veterans for Bush were disproved conclusively in 2004 by the men who fought by John Kerry’s side in Vietnam, by the military’s own records, by investigative journalists, and by the incredible contradictions that exposed these right wing smear artists. It is long past time that we end the politics of fear and smear that we have seen used against decorated veterans from John McCain to Max Cleland and John Kerry. Rush Limbaugh’s ignorance and determination to divide Americans is just another reminder that you can’t spell ‘Rush Limbaugh’ without the letters L-I-A-R.”

What’s funny here is that this moron goes on and on about smearing in politics but uses smears against Rush with his OxyContin and silly word play with “liar”. Good Lord, grow up dude.

JOhn Kerry is a waste of Oxygen. so No surprise that his spokesman is ALSO. Now, if those two would stop exhaling, we could save 3 Ounces of CO2 to combat Global Flimflamming!

What a minute now, you are giving a bad name to Honkeys everywhere.
Kerry deserves all the scorn heaped upon him. He lied about all of us vets being baby killers and worse. He was, is and will never be man.
"I'm gonna fix those damn fitness reports once and for all!"
The extraordinary and unprecedented nature of their action was openly acknowledged and explained by the Swiftvets. They stated that they would have never mobilized had Kerry been content to remain merely a Senator from Massachusetts. As annoying and embarrassing as he may have been in that position, he would not have been able to do much more serious damage to the country and to our armed forces than he had already done years earlier.
However, as President and CIC he would have once again been able to wreak unimaginable new havoc on the Republic and our military. They felt that their sworn oaths of service would not allow them to stand aside in the face of this new threat. For the good of the nation, Kerry could not be allowed the chance to reprise his previous traitorous and destructively insane behavior.
They were absolutely right.

I dare this spokesman to go over point by point the facts the Swifities brought out with their head
I also dare him to explain why Kerry’s book was pulled from the market
So far still doesn’t pass the smell test. No Form 180 and no evidence that anything said by the Swift Boat Vets was inaccurate or incorrect.

I can stop reading there. Obviously one only needs a junior high school education to get a job as a Kerry spokesperson. This person is obviously a classless and gutless slimeball.
Contrast Jean-Francois to Duncan Hunter. While Kerry went on and on about his heroics in Vietnam (for which, of course, he got his purple heart for a flesh wound), Hunter, when asked by Glenn Beck about his experience, downplayed it, stating that the guys over in Iraq/Afghanistan, including his own son, are the real heroes!
But back to Rush/SwiftBoat guys. NOTHING they ever said against Kerry was proven untrue.
And a few months ago, there were stories in the news stating that Oxycontin IS in fact overly addictive. But no vindication for Rush from his accusers, of course.
That is exactly what I thought. They are all about name calling/hate mongering and the like, but let a Conservative do the same thing (which we as a rule are above) then call out the PC police.
