SANTA BARBARA, Calif. Hollywood producer Joel Surnow dismissed as "nuts" the notion that Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton can be elected president and said he and other conservatives in the entertainment industry are leaning toward supporting Republican Rudolph W. Giuliani's presidential campaign.
The executive producer of Fox's Emmy-winning counterterrorism thriller "24," interviewed after a Saturday speech to a conservative student group, also predicted that the current screenwriters' strike would be "hugely long" and settled to the disadvantage of the writers union.
"I'm not even sure that Hillary is a fait accompli [to win the Democratic Party nomination] as this point," Mr. Surnow told a group of reporters and bloggers in a wide-ranging interview during the Young America's Foundation's (YAF) West Coast Leadership Conference. "Are we nuts thinking Hillary Clinton could be president of this country? Honest to God, just stand back and think about it."

There are many people here who are scared to death of Hillary, but I'm not one
of them and never have been.
The woman is, and has always been a total bane in the political theatre, and is just
plain unlikeable. And that's not even beginning to talk about her poor
judgement, and how she is totally incapable of mustering any political savviness.

Speaking of 24...

November 8, 2007 -- TURNS out Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff is a huge fan of "24." When he heard Kiefer Sutherland, who plays counter-terrorist agent Jack Bauer, was in Washington, D.C., over the weekend to shoot the hit Fox series, Chertoff paid a visit to the set outside the Willard Intercontinental Hotel to see art imitating his life. "He observed them filming a scene and talked with executive producer Brad Turner," a rep for the L.A.-based show told The Post's Melissa Jane Kronfeld. Sutherland even met his real-life counterparts, a group of 15 counter-terrorist FBI agents, who posed for a photo with the star. Producers shot more scenes at the Jefferson and Washington Memorials, the Capitol and in Georgetown. Among the throngs of fans who shouted, "Go Jack!" and "Kiefer, Kiefer!" was Motion Picture Association head Dan Glickman. After wrapping, Sutherland was spotted eating at Nathan's and bar-hopping at Billy Martin's and McFadden's.

conservatives in the entertainment industry are leaning toward supporting Republican Rudolph W. Giuliani's presidential campaign. If they support Rudy they are only trying to pass for conservatives.

supporting Giuliani IS supporting Hillary.
same positions on pro-abortion, pro-guncontrol, and pro-homoseuxal based marriage.
Giuliani is the Hillary Clone in the GOP Primary.

From what I heard of the new season of ‘24’, it will take a lot more than some self serving Conservative statements from him to get me to watch ‘24’ again.
Nice try though.

The sad part of all of this is that these Hollywood types still demand the same liberal type as President but one that promises, at least, to be tough on defense - not conservative, a liberal just like Hillary but tough on national defense.
Who they want is the old fashioned Democrat of the 50's and 60's.

Sadly the fact that her Billery was elected, Impeached, and re-elected says much more about the American electorate than it says about the candidate his/herself!

You have to give Carter props for one thing -
he was the last Democrat candidate that got over 50% of the popular vote.

Most of the “RINO” remarks are in reference to a candidate’s social conservativism.
What the socialcons (and I am one) need to understand is that fiscal conservatism IS social conservativism.
What would the effect be on abortions if PP was not funded?
What would the effect be on teen pregnancy be if the bastards weren’t paid for by the gov’t?
What would happen to the character of a community if there were no social program hammock?
