Look little girl. In many of the place I patronize the waitstaff would work for free. The employers know this and pay them next to nothing. If they had to pay them what they make in tips they a beer might cost $10, but it doesn't. Like I said, this is AMERICA. Maybe your family would prefer things back in the USSR?

Ummm, why then don’t you tip the cashier at the local AM-PM ... they provided you a service right - why don’t you tip anyone and everyone who provides you a service regardless .... why only wait-staff or your hairdresser or your pet groomer???? Tip the flight crew who brought you safely to the airport .... So again it appears that if you don’t want your $10 beer other people have to pay for it, is that it??? So what you’re saying is that we have no more choice in America??? Hmmmm ...
BTW - I am an American ... war veteran’s in my family going back to the Revolutionary War - last one is my brother who is now in Iraq .... I worked and paid for my education myself .....
