Look, we are at war with people who want to kill us, convert or enslave us. Rudy is not perfect... none of the Republican candidates are. But he understands this fact better than any of the other candidates from a personal perspective. Remember when he turned down hundreds of thousands of dollars from the Saudis? That spoke volumes. The truth of 911 is etched upon every fiber of his being and he will prosecute this battle to the uttermost. And he will actively fight against the anti American subversives within the senate and congress that are trying to undermine those efforts. They are going to squeal like little piggies when Rudy goes on national tv and takes them to task. I am so looking forward to that. I have a great deal of respect for president Bush. Our entire family voted for him twice, but he has let his critics on the left walk all over him and NOT taken a stand against them. Jesus said we were to "turn the other cheek", but that does not mean we are to become a door mat for our enemies to step all over. He should have continually taken a stand on the TRUTH and not let them get away with their lies, distortions and attacks. Instead, he wanted to "play nice" with people who continually stab him and the American people in the back EVERY chance they get.

Is Rudy everything I want in a candidate? No but he will also NOT put up with Hillery trying to "Lazio" him by hiding behind "No fair, I am a girl!" Come the election campaign/debates, he will beat her like a rented mule. He cleaned up NY, ran that city very well, lowered taxes AND the crime rate and a whole lot of people didn't like him for it because he was tough. But that didn't bother him because he kept his eye on the ball. One more thing, in spite of his faults, Americans like him and have a lot of respect for him. He will garner a lot of independents.

He has stated that he will appoint strict constitutionalists to the SC. I for one take him at his word.

Personally as an evangelical, I like Fred, BUT Fred Thompson doesn't have the fire in his belly, does not seem to "want it" and is not willing to FIGHT for the position as much as Rudy. Sadly, he and his campaign reminds me of Senator Bob Dole... I refuse to let that happen again.

As for Mit, I live in NH and have seen first hand how he governs... no thanks. Besides, I can't vote for a guy who actually believes he is going to become the god of his own world by sexually propagating it with multitudes of spirit children his wife is going to be churning out like the queen from Aliens.

Radical liberal Rudy’s brand of loyalty will stab you in the back faster than he stabbed each of his former wives.

You are a stepping stone for him, friend, and that is all.

Don’t kid yourself.

Rudy is not perfect

True. He'd be almost worthless if he weren't so dangerous.

What a load of sh*t that is!

Rudy is just a weak punk ass pervert. He can't even hold a family together and you want to turn over a nation to him?

While I whole heartedly agree with your analysis, get ready to duck some emotional slings and arrows. You will be bombarded with a lot of illogical/non-factual impassioned arguments against you. You will not see many practical analyses such as yours for other candidates. They will argue for their candidate on philosophical grounds, not on who stands the best chance of leading a nation at war.

If we lose the war, everything else is moot.

Do you have this post saved somewhere on your computer so you can post it over and over again? Sheesh.

Your Rudy campaigning will not work here, Mr. Hannity.

I’ve got to ask you a question: what do you think about Huckabee..I don’t fully support him and hate his past stand on Illigals, taxes (it’s flip-flopping, why I can’t also support Mitt.), but there is some sort of trust factor for me because at least he seems to be ‘one of us’..? What do you think?

“He cleaned up NY”, to Hell with the fact that he stomped all over The Constitution. You’re going to miss that Constitution, when it’s gone!

I don’t think Romney believes the weird part of mormonism but just takes the good. And part of the reason we are at war is because of the mass baby murder that goes on every year in our country. God’s protection is not great due to that, I believe, and having a strong pro life president will make a big difference. Rudy isn’t willing to protect the unborn by law...that is not republican or Godly.

I am NOT a "Rudy supporter", but.....

There is simply no denying his record of accomplishment. Even the torrent of cheap little sound bites that swamp any Giuliani thread on FR - by the same tawdry and vicious crew every time - can't erase the dramatic improvements he made to NYC (which gains my attention since many of my relatives are/were from there, and I have fond memories of the city).

His position on abortion I find just barely tolerable - and maybe not at all - and the same for the 2nd Amendment. His prior record on illegals is disturbing. However, I will give him the benefit of the doubt as mayor of our largest and most problem-ridden city, and he did what he needed to do within the existing law.

As for Robertson's endorsement, this most likely comes from G's unfailing support of Israel, and his recognition of the Islamist threat. His positions there are much stronger and more unflinching than anything we have heard in the debates.

In a speech broadcast on C-SPAN from a Jewish community center in Silver Spring/Wheaton MD, G was asked "What will you do about the Big Lie", in other words the Arab Muslim lie that Israel is "Palestinean land" for some a-historical and incoherent Muslim reason.

G basicaly said that he'd talk to every Arab leader to make sure they understood that (a) Israel is NOT and NEVER WAS and "Arab land", and that (b) he'd let them know very pointedly that Israel is America's ally and that we would never, ever walk awway from defending Israel whenever and however necessary.

It was the clearest and most coherent and complete answer I've ever heard about Israel, by any pol from any party.
