Have you tried the ginger preserve yet?

Also regarding the crackers they are our most popular ones for putting cheese on.

We tend to butter them and put a slice of cheese either on its own or with some pickle of sort sort with the cheese.

condi never gets the credit she deserves from the u.s. media.

I checked .. he’s recovering from
heart surgery. May God bless him
with recovery. He truly was a
righteous giant in the senate.

Today the President presented several Presidential Medal of Freedom awards...including one to my hero Brian Lamb for helping to bring "transparency to government" - and I got to watch the entire ceremony live and uncensored on C-Span......

Saddled for years with one of the world’s worst records on child health, Afghanistan has seen access to health care rise dramatically since the U.S.-led invasion.

An evil act planned in totalitarian Afghanistan leads to the slaughter of thousands on 9-11, and today many more thousands of Afghan children who would likely be dead will now live in freedom. God truly does bring good out of even the greatest of evil. How awesome.

Thanks for the ideas.. I haven’t opened anything yet. My life has been a bit complicated lately.. with seemingly one crisis after another. I will be home for a bit in morning & will try them all.. I like the idea of the cracker, butter, cheese & pickle.. would that be a slice of dill or sweet or a relish?

Ok, this probably marks me as a major league nerd, but I am totally impressed that Gary Becker received the Medal of Freedom. Becker and his work in Economic Sociology changed my intellectual life and views on economics. He took economics (for me, at least) away from 'economic man' and the mathematics of an impossibly perfect world, back into real life, where people have limited information, prejudices, and assumptions and have to make real, messy, choices. He strongly influenced my doctoral studies and dissertation work. Good on ya, Gary! Whoo Hoo!

Any of the 3 would be fine most popular is sweet pickle in Britain and the most popular brand is Branston Pickle which I am told is available in specialist shops and very large supermarkets in the US.

The ginger preserve is best either as a sabdwuich made with white fresh bread or toasted butter is a must.

I didn’t know that. I’ll add a wish that he recovers completely and quickly. He certainly was a giant. Was he in the House or Senate?
