More importantly, he already has an exceptional record of putting conservative values to work. Huh?
Where's the fruit?

Another major social conservative leader supports Mitt Romney. There’s a pattern here. Could it be that Romney actually is a conservative and that he is the best positioned candidate (money, experience, organization, energy, appeal) to overtake Giuliani and to win the General Election?

Weyrich knows what every other Conservative and/or Republican who wants to win the election next year knows.
There are two choices, Mitt or Rudy.

Won’t make a bit of difference. He isn’t getting the nomination by any stretch of the imagination.

Now that is an answer to prayer. Conservatives unite! You will have to sacrifice fewer of your conservative principles, and less of your pride to support Mitt, than a Baptist Minister supporting a Mormon for President.

I can’t wait to hear the outcries if Mitt Romney gets the nomination...
To: Bosco
Hi, I just joined, and not finding any introduce yourself thread, I thought I start here.
I’m a longtime Republican (since Reagan era) and believe Romney will be the most effective conservative candidate. He has the energy to beat Clinton. I admire his private sector accomplishments and his personal family background.
The co-founder of Heritage Foundation endorsing Romney doesn’t surprise me. I will not be surprise at all if James Dobson, Pat Robertson and other Christian conservatives endorse Romney. I think people want a man with strong business experience and at the same time live a moral life in the White House.
To: Bosco
I’m not sure I would call this a major endorsement. Weyrich is a likable enough man, but I haven’t agreed with him on much for years. But I would definitely call it a curious endorsement. Does it influence me? Not at all. Weyrich means well but he is wrong.
