In other words...appeasement at all costs. We need to be loved, if only briefly.

OK Bill, we won’t go to war with Iran. We’ll let them nuke the crap out of Israel and then out of us as well. Happy?

Traitors.

in the midst of one failed war in Iraq

Do they even bother to look around at what is happening in the world? Do they care? Aren't they going to be looking pretty stupid when the news leaks out that we have not failed, despite the best efforts of the democrats and the MSM.

“It is a tragedy that in the midst of one failed war in Iraq...”

Guess he’d be happier if the terrorists were here and all those IEDs were going off at home, targeting American civilians. God bless our heroic troops.

The Democrats are always full of venom for the reelected Bush Administration, but they never have a single bad word for the enemy.

Golly, it’s so cheap and easy to be against war.

It’s also easy to hold up the term “diplomacy” as a magic talisman.

This assumes that everyone else out there will listen to reason if only we could sit down together and talk it out.

Four thousand years of history still fails to convince certain folks that some people are just plain evil and that dictatorships are not subject to popular opinion.

“We should seek by all means in our power to avoid war, by analyzing possible causes, by trying to remove them, by discussion in a spirit of collaboration and good will. I cannot believe that such a program would be rejected by the people of this country, even if it does mean the establishment of personal contact with the dictators.”

Neville Chamberlain quote

Yes he would.

That way the courts would be more involved and getting funds domestically via Congress would bolster the liberal domestic spending frenzy after they declared martial law.
