Oh yes, I can't forget that....I was a passionate record collector until Grunge came along and spoiled much of my interest in music. It didn't help that I 'was' a very good friend of one of the originators of Grunge and fell out with him because I had the temerity to suggest that Grunge was only recycling old ideas and was not representative of anything new or particularly unique....such informed honesty was not appreciated and the stoat was kicked to the curb.
The entire decade of the 90's remains virtually unrepresented in my Rock collection section.
So were the local Portland TV stations. They went into the lurid details of this guy wearing women's underwear, etc. Sick stuff, but you know if were a dem, they'd be soft-pedaling it, if reporting on it at all.
