A mandatory University of Delaware program requires residence hall students to acknowledge that "all whites are racist" and offers them "treatment" for any incorrect attitudes regarding class, gender, religion, culture or sexuality they might hold upon entering the school, according to a civil rights group.
"Somehow, the University of Delaware seems terrifyingly unaware that a state-sponsored institution of higher education in the United States does not have the legal right to engage in a program of systematic thought reform. The First Amendment protects the right to freedom of conscience – the right to keep our innermost thoughts free from governmental intrusion. It also protects the right to be free from compelled speech," said a letter from Samantha Harris, director of legal and public advocacy for The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education to university President Patrick Harker.
The organization cited excerpts from the university's Office of Residence Life Diversity Education Training documents, including the statement:
"A RACIST: A racist is one who is both privileged and socialized on the basis of race by a white supremacist (racist) system. 'The term applies to all white people (i.e., people of European descent) living in the United States, regardless of class, gender, religion, culture or sexuality. By this definition, people of color cannot be racists, because as peoples within the U.S. system, they do not have the power to back up their prejudices, hostilities, or acts of discrimination….'"

Exactly so. It’s a double standard, and therefore inherently racist - or at least divisive.
Unfortunately for these scammers, white folk are getting wise. I’m not going on some gigantic self-hating guilt trip for everyone elses benefit for the rest of my life.
Fair enough, but how is it going to be healed by this kind of action? These fools risk causing by a backlash the very racist attitudes they claim to be fighting against.
Pardon me but for the life of me that definition defines the concept of circular logic if there ever was one. Maybe they ought to start over and define “race” and then go from there.
At least the gulags in the Soviet Union were free. In America, you have to pay 40 gs a year to send your kid to a gulag.

I agree, and I cannot wait till we hold the trials to hold these criminals accountable. If they are found guilty they will be sentenced to an organic farm to harvest veggies.

I know a guy who’s a white South African immigrant. He says he got his American citizenship during his Junior year, and marched straight to the financial aid office, filled out the paperwork, and got a full scholarship for his Senior year, as an African American.
He said the black clerk in the financial aid office was not amused. I sure was.
I hadn’t thought about all the Egyptians that have immigrated, but it sounds good to me. It’s the fallout of Political Correctness speech having unexpected outcomes. I heard some story about a white South African driving the HR dept crazy by insisting on checking the Afro-Am box.
