A mandatory University of Delaware program requires residence hall students to acknowledge that "all whites are racist" and offers them "treatment" for any incorrect attitudes regarding class, gender, religion, culture or sexuality they might hold upon entering the school, according to a civil rights group.
"Somehow, the University of Delaware seems terrifyingly unaware that a state-sponsored institution of higher education in the United States does not have the legal right to engage in a program of systematic thought reform. The First Amendment protects the right to freedom of conscience – the right to keep our innermost thoughts free from governmental intrusion. It also protects the right to be free from compelled speech," said a letter from Samantha Harris, director of legal and public advocacy for The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education to university President Patrick Harker.
The organization cited excerpts from the university's Office of Residence Life Diversity Education Training documents, including the statement:
"A RACIST: A racist is one who is both privileged and socialized on the basis of race by a white supremacist (racist) system. 'The term applies to all white people (i.e., people of European descent) living in the United States, regardless of class, gender, religion, culture or sexuality. By this definition, people of color cannot be racists, because as peoples within the U.S. system, they do not have the power to back up their prejudices, hostilities, or acts of discrimination….'"

What happens to the student’s who don’t answer the RA’s questions to his/her liking? Are they suspended? Are the professors alerted to such writeups? This is the most outrageous thing I’ve ever heard.
Every black, Mexican, Guamanian, German, Italian, Korean, Japanese, rich, poor, monogomous, or not, Catholic, Baptist, agnostic, male or female (either or both), or..(insert every other person of any persuasion) I have ever met has been just as racist as me.
This ideology is why the Constitution mandates we must protect against domestic enemies as well. The communist purge stopped too soon and allowed the Gramscian strategy to filter all across higher education 40+ years ago.
Once there this corrupt ideology had free reign to warp skulls full of mush and permeate all sectors of society.

The Culture of White Supremacy document in particular is pretty enlightening as to the mindset of these diversity idiots, with section headings like “White Culture is a Deadly Brew”.

Then logically all of the white faculty, administrators and staff must be fired or resign as the school cannot have racists in positions of power.
These days students graduating from college are more ignorant than when they enter.
Sounds like something that happened to my dad in WWII. He was an artillery officer in charge of a platoon or a company (I wasn’t Army - I don’t know) of African-American artillery soldiers. At some point during this tour of duty, the Army, is its incredible stupidity, swooped down on him and relieved him of his command, citing the fact that he was “from the south and all southerners are racists” as the reason for their decision to relieve him of his command. Despite that fact that they could not produce a single document or allegation indicating that he had ever mistreated any of his soldiers, much less ever demonstrated a single racist act against them, he was removed from his command position.
I never, ever witnessed any racism by my dad and have since learned that institutional claims of racism are made to assuage the racist tendencies of those making the charge. White Delaware students may want to forego their in-state tuition break to study out-of-state. When the institutional focus is coercing a false admission of racism from people of a certain race, education is not the main goal of the university system.
Even for today’s super-liberal colleges, this is nothing short of despicable!!

I was also told I was a sexual predator, who would likely commit "acquaintance/date rape" at some point in my college experience and then go on to molest my daughter.

The power of the university is absolute. Despite the fact that students are consumers, who pay for services rendered, there is no consumer protection whatsoever at a university.
Moreover, the university holds the student’s future economic potential in their hands. If they decide to withhold your diploma for some arbitrary administrative reason, you are screwed.
Except for the right to protest George Bush, students essentially lose all rights when they attend college.

My wife and I both graduated from UD in the mid-80’s and my daughter has been considering UD for engineering. This is extremely disturbing and if it is still in place next year will be a deciding factor in my daughter going elsewhere. If any one has any suggestions as to a good engineering school that has not gone over the Marxist edge, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
Keep this in mind -
even if the program “isn’t in place” next year,
the people who implemented it, and the attitude that led to it being implemented,
STILL ARE.
