[Ron] PAUL’S AD PUSH
msnbc ^ | Oct 27 07 | Domenico Montanaro

Posted on 10/27/2007 9:01:09 PM PDT by freedomdefender

On the heels of a St. Anselm College poll showing Ron Paul in fourth place with 7 percent in New Hampshire, the candidate is starting to spend some of those millions he’s raised with radio ads and an upcoming TV ad. But Paul is also stepping up efforts in direct mail. The campaign put together a 12-page biographical pamphlet being mailed out in New Hampshire.

The New Hampshire Presidential Watch blog reports, “The mailing comes at the same time that Ron Paul will spend $1 million on five New Hampshire television commercials.”

Paul has also spent $430,000 on a new radio ad, which will run in New Hampshire, Iowa, South Carolina and Nevada. The 60-second ad, an appeal to New Hampshire independents, mentions Paul’s name 11 times and focuses on conservative principles of spending, foreign policy and taxes and mentions “flip-flopping” Republicans and Bill Clinton.

I am NOT interested in more pious posing for holy pictures by the paleofraud. When Dr. Demento gets around to actually DOING something to END abortion rather than just yakking about it, get back to us. You describe yourself on your homepage as a libertarian with conservative leanings. I have not noticed evidence of your "conservative leanings." If you support Dr. Demento, then you likely will never convince me that you are anything but a libertarian windtunnel. Libertarian is NOT conservative whatever libertarians may please themselves to imagine. I cannot imagine voting for paleoPaulie under any circumstances.

I look forward to the paleocrackpot being defeated in his Congressional primary. If he is not, his district should have the decency to be ashamed. One thing is for sure, Dr. Demento will NEVER have a GOP nomination for POTUS.

Pointing out that paleoPaulie is the fake, fraud and phony that he clearly is resonates as special only in the fact that he is the lame straggler who needs to be weeded out first. He is not alone. We will nominate a candidate who WILL DO SOMETHING EFFECTIVE beyond reversing Roe vs. Wade. PaleoPaulie has made himself the first target by also favoring "letters of marque and reprisal" as a military policy. "Avast, Matey, my parrot will eat your liver!!!!" Of course, Blackbeard is no longer available and some of us actually prefer the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, etc. in full force to slaughter our nation's enemies (who are paleoPaulie's and Cuckoocinich's pals and whom he serves as mouthpiece in the POTUS race even more militantly than any Demonrat other than Cuckoocinich or Gravel)). If you imagine that I am "full of it" for thinking as I do as to paleoPaulie, I will take that as a compliment. Given your expressed views, why would I want your approval?

What has paleoPaulie DONE to stop the abortion holocaust????

Please spare us the crocodile tears and flapdoodle. He is a phony, a fraud and a lot worse. That is reality and no "smear."

Missy, you haven't lived long enough to give ME a "Reading Assignment For Tonight", and the largest font size you can use will not change that.

Finley Peter Dunne said "politics ain't beanbag", if you can't handle it, take Harry Truman's advice.

BlackElk's post #12 was well within the bounds of any FR guidelines, I explained it clearly in my post #60, and if you can't deal with it, I guess you'll just have to cry some more as you type another response.

Ron Paul isn't going to be the GOP nominee, no way, no how, and it goes without saying that he isn't going to be the President of the United States, not in this life, or any other life.

Deal.

By the way, Paul also wants to abolish the US Dept of Education. Great idea!

Well it clearly didn't do you any good.

I have conceded in posts on this forum repeatedly that paleoPaulie may well be PERSONALLY pro-life. For all I know and despite a mountain of contrary evidence the paleosurrenderman may have a patriotic "feeling" or two in spite of his consistent opposition to our nation's interests in the WOT. His "feelings" on either issue or any issue don't matter. It is his actions or his failure to act that count. He hides behind eccentric pseudoconstitutionalist blather to convince the libertarian pro-aborts and the antiwar antiAmerican pro-aborts and other key paleo constituency groups that they have nothing really to fear from paleoPaulie interfering with their various perverse "lifestyles." Meanwhile, he poses for pro-life holy pictures. I don't care what he "thinks" or "feels." I care about what he WILL or WILL NOT DO. Clearly, he will do NOTHING that would not be done by the other GOP candidates other than JulieAnnie to actually end the holocaust and that is no lie and that is what matters. Abortion MUST be ended nationally in every nook and cranny just as generally as it has been crammed down America's throat for more than three decades.

Of course, while you are trying to silence a pro-lifer on a pro-life website because he frankly criticizes Dr. Demento in truthful terms, we should recall that your original candidate was Julie Annie.

EEE: Rudy used to be YOUR candidate. Why are you giving MaggieM a hard time as though he were EVER her candidate? AND paleoPaulie may have pro-life “feelings” or “emotions” but he is wedded to the notion that the federal constitution won’t let him stop the killing of little babies through federal policy. Getting rid of Roe vs. Wade is great but I am not holding my breath for the abolition of abortion in states governed by Arnold Schwarzenkennedy, Eliot Spitzer, Rod Blagojevich, If windtunnel elitist Muffie has found herself unwittingly (but I repeat myself) preggers and wanting an abortion but lives in a pro-life state, she will schedule a vacation in California, NY, Illinois or wherever. Planned Barrenhood wiill transport the poor girls as they did before Roe. State by stateabolition will accomplish little because there will be holdouts which become the babykilling Meccas. PaleoPaulie knows that and so do you.

What has paleoPaulie DONE to stop the abortion holocaust????

He sponsored H.R. 1094, which would have defined life at beginning of conception & H.R. 300, which would have negated the federal courts' say in abortion so states can protect life.

Please spare us the crocodile tears and flapdoodle. He is a phony, a fraud and a lot worse. That is reality and no "smear."

There's no use in engaging in further discussion with you, then. Despite evidence to the contrary, you still insinuate that Dr. Paul is pro-abortion. I can understand your anger over Paul on his anti-war views, but to smear him as a pro-abortionist, I wouldn't think any FReeper would sink that low.

Again, what paleoPaulie “thinks” or “feels” is not what matters. He plainly hides behind his cramped view of the constitution in refusing to END the abortion holocaust nationally rather than favoring pie in the sky bye and bye in the vain hope that abortion will be outlawed in all 50 states. If you think, I am lying, show me why. If you publicly claim I am lying, ping me as I would ping you in similar circumstances.

Ron Paul’s views on abortion are indistinguishible from John Kerry’s.

That's complete horsecrap.

Ron Paul says he opposes abortion but he said he would leave it up to the states, ie, he would not use the power of the presidency to abolish abortion if elected.

It's a federalist position that is also shared by the rock star of FR, Fred Thompson. Why don't you click on the link I posted above and see what Paul has done to stop abortion. Funny how Fred's views on abortion are OK but the man who was actually delivering babies and saw birth first-hand is a kook and pro-abortionist. You guys have completely joined Alice in Wonderland.

I’ll accept Ron Paul as pro-life when you convince me John Kerry was pro-life.

Paul is pro-life. The man spoke at the National Right to Life this summer. Did you know that Paul saw an abortion when he was interning, that the fetus was still crying until one of the other doctors put it into a trash receptacle? My God, have you guys lost your minds here?

Ron Paul the next Ross Perot ??????

Hillary’s only chance to win is by splitting the vote.

Paul is nutty enough to do it.

EEE: Rudy used to be YOUR candidate.

My past support of Rudy is irrelevant to this discussion. Do I support him now?

AND paleoPaulie may have pro-life “feelings” or “emotions” but he is wedded to the notion that the federal constitution won’t let him stop the killing of little babies through federal policy.

Please go to his online library and learn what he has done to stop abortion. Otherwise, this is my last post to you. I'm not going to waste my time talking to people who openly lie about someone's record when the facts are sitting right there in front of them.

If you think I'm a woman, guess again.

I guess you'll just have to cry some more as you type another response.

Because you guys are sitting here lying about someone's pro-life record. Damn, I know Paul's a kook and all, but there's no need to lie about his pro-life record.

Ron Paul isn't going to be the GOP nominee, no way, no how, and it goes without saying that he isn't going to be the President of the United States, not in this life, or any other life.

Then there's nothing for you to worry about, right?

Thanks for your many kindnesses on this thread.

Thank YOU for telling the truth and speaking up for the millions of voices that are silenced before they even see daylight and are never heard.

Ron Paul talks a good game. He is personally opposed to abortion, as any sane person should be.

Just like Rudy Giuliani, John Kerry, Al Gore, Hillary Clinton, in fact, every 'Rat I know "personally opposes" abortion but abortion is still here.

Keep up the good fight my FRiend.

What about the thousands of voices that Paul delivered? Or where they just toys or something.

It's hard to tell, your emotional state suggests that you've got a whole bunch o' estrogen running around in your veins.

Sorry if FReepers attacking Paul's lifelong pro-life record got to me for a minute there. I guess FReepers are not the kind Christian folks I thought they were.

Good God, he wants to practically dismantle the federal government

He has repeatedly said there'd be a transition period regarding entitlement programs, and that he'd work with Congress on downsizing departments. The government's not going to get abolished overnight, so keep enjoying your handouts.

how is such a skeleton federal entity going to stop abortion, by "leaving it to the States"

You really need to take a civics class. Abortion was regulated by the states until Roe vs Wade. Paul's position on abortion is a federalist position You know, the same position shared by the almighty Fred Thompson but if you would take the time to read his writings instead of letting your seething rage of the man get in the way of logic, you'd see that he has gone beyond federalism and proposed two bills that would have instantly killed Roe vs Wade.

If you "know he's a kook", why on Earth would you waste ANY time at all defending such a kook?

If you say he's a kook, then Paul's a kook. After all, Paul's a pro-abortionist, right?
