HOUSTON A school district police officer suspended for creating and distributing a "Ghetto Handbook" has been fired.
Gang investigator Roby Morris, 34, had worked for 11 years at the Houston Independent School District before being fired this week, according to an investigation report released Friday.
Morris was placed on paid leave in August after school officials learned of his eight-page booklet subtitled "Wucha dun did now?"
The booklet was given to other police officers at a May roll call and tells them learning the definitions in it will allow them to speak as if they "just came out of the hood."

The reason they fired him was to try to appease the black “leaders” who are opposing the $805 million school levy that will be voted on Nov. 6. HISD would do nearly anything for money...I hope the “leaders” stay offended and opposed
It’s actually worse than that ,, sure most of the time they’re stolen or purchased with money that would be better off catching up on the late bills ,,, they’re’s actuslly a company that will sell a $3,000.00 set of wheels/tires to anyone with any job on credit ,, and it isn’t at 7.0% interest either..
You might want to check out a book called “Going Postal” by Terry Pratchett. There is a version of Cockney Rhyming Slang in the (absolutely hilarious) book.
Found it!

Thank you very much for the recommendation!
I've always loved Cockney Rhyming Slang, and that's one of the reasons why I often peruse the UK Sun .... if one can wade through the endless idiotic celebrity gossip trash, they occasionally have a stellar article, and oftentimes it's punctuated by Cockney Rhyming Slang.
An example (not of a 'stellar article', but of Cockney Rhyming Slang):
Balding star's wiggo Jacko (Experts claim Jacko wears a wig - One of the worst I've ever seen )
Wacko Jackos mad dash to court in his pyjamas is said to have let the cat out of the bag on his syrup
syrup of figs - Rhyming Slang for for 'wig'. e.g. "See that old bloke over there, is that a syrup he's wearing or what ?". |
Well, crap. We must all learn to speak Spanish, so why not ghettoese as well? I don’t see the problem.
The cop should have given it to the principal to pass it out. Principals very rarely, if ever, get fired.
Let me know how you like “Going Postal”. I got it in CD form so I can listen while I work.
