Is Rupert Murdoch on the Enemies List now?

I must have missed the memo.

They didn’t whack him so.....what has this to do with the election?

FOX BREAKING NEWS: The mob decided NOT to kill someone 25 years ago.

Yawn.

Fox has been carrying on all day about this. Big deal.

I am not working up any emotion for Rooty.

This is all too ridiculous. Another reason not to vote for Rooty. The mob is after him. hehehehehe!

I hope they aren’t stoopid enough to think this will work.

Hard to see why Gotti would have needed anyone else’s vote to do that.

Not really that hard to see... maybe he had "goombahs" in other mob families...

"Rudy isn’t scared of abortion defenders, gay rights groups or anyone else."

I don't see him getting in their face... except to shake hands with them and march in their parades.

"Unlike most conservative politicians, however, he picks his battles carefully and usually wins them."

Again, since he's plainly on the wrong side of most of the social issues, why would he choose to battle against something that is morally wrong that he believes in as a right ?

"Though he may rate as a liberal in your book"

He rates as a liberal "in my book" and on the specifically and widely accepted defined ideological spectrum because he is one.

"no one in politics today would do more to bedevil the left and turn the tide against them."

That's ludicrous. As a liberal Republican, he would do more to proliferate liberalism as well as improving the Democrat party fortunes at the expense of Conservatism and the GOP. What color is the sky in your world ?

"Unlike Duncan Hunter, he may not be your knight in shining armor,"

Read my tagline. I'm supporting Fred, the ONLY viable Republican candidate for President.

"but he is a canny fighter who would move America back to the center and away from moonbat politics."

We need this country moved to the right, not the "center" (which is really just another word for liberal, anyhow), and sure as hell not the left, as Rudy would do, despite claims to the otherwise.

Did ya see this?
’80s Plot to Hit Giuliani? Mob Experts Doubt It

(snip)

But the details of the reported plot are curious. According to Mr. DeVecchio’s notes, Mr. Scarpa said the discussion took place around September 1986. At the time, Mr. Scarpa was a lowly soldier in the Colombo family, not likely to be invited to meetings of the top bosses.

His source of information is generally surmised to be Alphonse Persico, who later engaged in a bloody struggle for control of the family. Mr. Persico and Mr. Gotti, the two supposed yes voters, were not great friends: Mr. Gotti supported a rival faction in the Colombo war. And in his own many trials, Mr. Gotti was not known to threaten prosecutors or judges.

“I’m pretty sure he’s right on when he says Carmine Persico wanted to kill Rudy Giuliani,” said Jerry Capeci, who writes the authoritative Mafia Web site ganglandnews.com. “I find it difficult to believe that John Gotti would have gone along with the proposal.”

In fact, the idea of any collaboration among the bosses in late 1986 strains credulity, experts said. At the time, Mr. Gotti had just reached the top of the Gambino family after organizing the killing of the boss, Paul Castellano, an act that could have impeded normal diplomacy for a while.
