...is this priest guilty?

Hey... it's ABC talking here. The severity of the accusations always outweigh any proof of guilt!

this speaks directly to Rudy's character.

I don't know if I'd go that far, but it definitely speaks to his judgment. Just my 2 cents.

"Being guilty isn’t necessary to some folks. The accusdation is enough."

Unless the accusation is being made against Hillary.

Accusations are evidence with Republicans, and Republican voters are the worst throwing their candidates to the Dims, remember “MACACA”?? A good Conservative Senator who went undefended by his “supporters”.

The rightwing’s voters are very comfortable in the minority.

One can learn a lot from the friends of a subject under study.

Evidently the church diocese itself investigated the claims and found them credible enough to warrant the following actions:

While no longer allowed to perform priestly duties or appear in public as a priest [...] and told by the church to stop performing his priestly duties.

Anyone believing they are in unexplained possession of some special, hitherto all-but-secret information that might gainsay the church's own findings in this particular, and clear Placa's name really ought to be forwarding same to the appropriate party(s), and remedying this (purported) injustice immediately, don't you think...?

Then are you saying he is guilty? Guilt demands punishment. Shall we castrate him or what?

Not bad, considering what you have to work with.

Pinging in case you hadn’t seen this yet. Rudy’s got almost as many shady connections as Hillary.

The grand jury was held in 2002 and Mr. Tollner shows up on TV with his accusations TODAY 2007.

Let me be the first to say it...I question the timing.

Pedaphilia in the hallways of the Whitehouse?

Molesting, Rudy, Giuliani, predatoriness, sexual abuse, scandal, deception and intimidation, wolf in sheep’s clothing, child molesters -— All words in the article.

“While no longer allowed to perform priestly duties or appear in public as a priest, Placa continues to maintain a residence at a church rectory in Great Neck on New York’s Long Island.”

I ask why not? If he is innocent?

I say beat the drum and hopefully this will take Rudy out.

The Bishop of his Diocese thought there was substantial cause to defrock him. Not just put him out to pasture in a prison or a monastery, mind you, but never to allow him to function as a priest again. There are a number of reasons why criminal charges might not have been brought in court including statute of limitations and witness credibility.

In my opinion he is undeniably guilty.

So the Grand Jury heard testimony and issued a report, but did they issue an indictment? Was there a trial? Was he convicted? If a Grand Jury can indict a ham sandwich this should have been a slam dunk if the accusers are correct. What happened ?

Given the number of pederasts that infest the Church, you’re probably correct. I would need to see and hear both him and the accusers before I could really form a substantial opinion.

“Heads up on this one, this one will gain attention.”

It has certainly gained mine. Rudy is off my list as long as he supports this supports this A**hat in any way, shape or form.

Never mind, the article says statute of limitations expired, which in a way raised more questions. Child predators don’t quit. They seek more victims. So why couldn’t Suffolk County prosecutors find more post-1975 victims ?

Statute of limitations was up, they couldn’t find out.
