What is more sickening is that a censure motion would even fail

I'd like to see the roll call on the motion to censure.
Unless the spineless chickens on both sides of the aisle agreed to a voice vote.

I bet what happened was that a “few” of the Dems went to him and pressured him into apologizing by saying, “If you don’t we will vote along with the Repubs to censure you”! This idiot had no choice! Not a choice he made but a choice made for him!

What is more sickening is that a censure motion would even fail Hey, these are 'Rats. They stick together and protect their own. They're in the majority and nothing proposed by 'Pubs in the House of any substance will pass. Remember how they rallied around Clinton? It didn't matter what he did, they were going to stand by him, even though he used them to spread his lies and ended up humiliating them.

Obviously, the motion would have passed had he not agreed to apologize so the loony left had an excuse NOT to censure him. At least the pubbies had the backbone to present a censure motion.

Exactly - the failure of the censure is the real story here.
