Our Leader

"They can either go quietly or they can go loudly, but either way, they will go." -- Governor-elect Bobby Jindal (R), on Louisiana's corrupt establishment

I don't care who your candidate for President is. Tonight, Bobby Jindal is our leader.

Jindal's 54% first-round victory is an historic mandate for change against the most corrupt political culture in America. For decades, Louisiana has lived in the shadow of the easy populism of Huey Long, its politicians feasting on revenues from the state's natural resources. If you want to get a taste of a sense of entitlement and venality normally seen in the Saudi royals, except right here in America, just visit Louisiana. From Blundering Blanco to Freezer Cash Jefferson, the political class was a parody of itself.

Hoo Rah!

A key political point, term limits are kicking in and almost the entire State Legislature will be turning over. Jindal will have a month to campaign for the candidates in the run off, who'll support his reform efforts. This could be absolutely huge, as a t-shirt said Viva LA(Louisiana) Revolution!

Jindal in 2012! If he were a Democrat, Barack Obama would not even be a candidate for the Democratic nomination. Bobby Jindal not only has the looks and is well spoken, he actually makes sense when he talks, unlike Barack who talks and talks, and in the end says nothing, or worse actually says what crazy BS he belives.

I hope Bobby Jindal does what he says... but it would not surprise me for the Landrieu Mob to have the Clinton Mafia provide a covert Arkencide for the new Governor--

Hell, the MSM would never investigate it!

I sure hope this train of thought spreads through America. We are fed up with our politicians and others living off our backs through our government.

Louisiana, "the most corrupt political culture in America"?

Debatable. New Jersey, Arkansas (think Clinton), and several others come to mind.
