Polish Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski is conceding defeat as exit polls give a pro-business party a large lead over his ruling nationalists in Sunday's parliamentary elections.
Mr. Kaczynski promised his Law and Order Party will be a strong opposition during the next government.
Civic Platform is a center-right party which has pushed for lower taxes on businesses, a smaller bureaucracy and closer integration into the European economic system. Tusk has said he will seek to withdraw Polish forces from Iraq.
Sunday's election brings to an end two years of conservative rule by Prime Minister Kaczynski and his twin brother, President Lech Kaczynski.
They pushed hard for a stronger Polish voice in the European Union, alienating some EU allies. They also opposed various EU regulations, including those on the environment.
Mr. Kaczynski called Sunday's election two years early when the previous government collapsed because of a corruption scandal.
“Xxxxxxxski loses Polish Election”
“Yyyyyyyski wins Polish Election”
Man!!!!
The only possitive thing about the elections in Poland is that I truly understood what massive media propaganda can do to a human brain. This can make me understand the way the Nazis could win and conquer German minds in 1933. Horrible!
I dedicate to you a song of my favourite Dire Straits, "Telegraph Road". I hope you are intelligent enough to understand what I mean.
A long time ago came a man on a track
Walking thirty miles with a pack on his back
And he put down his load where he thought it was the best
Made a home in the wilderness
He built a cabin and a winter store
And he ploughed up the ground by the cold lake shore
And the other travellers came riding down the track
And they never went further, no, they never went back
Then came the churches then came the schools
Then came the lawyers then came the rules
Then came the trains and the trucks with their loads
And the dirty old track was the telegraph road
Then came the mines - then came the ore
Then there was the hard times then there was a war...
I've seen desperation explode into flames
And I don't want to see it again. . .
From all of these signs saying sorry but we're closed
All the way down the telegraph road.
You may think you are a “citizen of the EU” but trust me most others do not think that way. You are not working for a “better Europe” but rather working for a diminished secular and eventually islamified Europe.
Dream on. All this BS and dumb propaganda about "Eurabia" is rather boring. It will be impossible to persuade a native European about its existence since he is living in Europe and he knows what is going on. It is indeed true that we have some muslims in our countries. Nevertheless they are for sure not in the situation to "take over" the government nor are they able to convert us to their funny religion. We have to watch them and their behavior closely. Nothing more and nothing less. Everything else is... ...BS.
Therefore your argumentation is as ridiculous as I would talk about a "Afroamerica" just because you have quite a few black compatriots (that are as valuable as any other American btw).
The EU has nothing to do with religion but it is a really immense improvement to our daily live as Michael already suggested. It is for sure not antithetic to our Christian* basement.
Regards
A.B.
* Regrettably in Europe nobody would refer to a "Judeo-Christian" basement because of the practical absence of Jewish Europeans after the crimes of the Holocaust. Jewish live happens, but only in a very small scale. Therefore religion is mainly represented over the big Christian churches and - for a small minority (i.e. 3.7% of the German residents) by Islam. Although Jewery made great advances in last two decades I think it does not reflect the realities in Europe to speak about a "Judeo-Christian" foundation anymore. In this link you get some further information about some typical contemporary Jewish life in Europe:
Your argumentation reminds me a little bit to the one of Adolf Hitler trapped in his Fuehrerbunker back in 1945. There were times when he also argued that we "Germans" were not worth his "efforts" because we were not hard enough to win a war against the whole world.
It is no secret that I do not like the Kaczynskis, but I am quite sure that they would ask you either to go to a booby hatch or simply to shut up because you ridicule your own nation.
P.S.
I think this here is the right place to tell a joke I heared from a good Polish friend:
You remember the series of Master Card commercials when they say, that something costs - lets say - 10$, another thing - 120$, another thing - 50$, and the result (like grandma being very happy) is priceless?
Just before this election they had a joke in Poland based on that same idea:
To put shoes on you feet - 30 seconds. To go to the polling station - 10 minutes. To cast a vote - 1 minute. To see the face of Kaczor (the Duck - you know who :-) right after the election results are announced - PRICELESS.
And it was :-)))
I do? Why?
Read my text closer. I said I´m “a citizen of a EU member”. And while I enjoy the benefits of a united Europe, I also see the problems, among them too few democratic control of the EU bodies, too much intransparency in the EU commission, too much central regulation. Who of us has not heard apologies from national politicians: “We had to make that law, Brussels forced us!”
Get the blinders off! We visit Europe quite frequently and are amazed at the numbers and the forcefulness of Muslims.
Even more shocking is the apathy, the self centeredness and frankly laziness of the Euros. Read Bat Yeor or Spencer or Fallaci and wake up!

Why? Because you don’t get it...that’s why.
I don’t get what?
Do you even know where Poland is?
You think you know better this country than I do?
You are believing a lie. Post 36 explains it. Too afraid to read it?
I have read it twice to make sure I didn’t miss anything.
Now, where’s the lie I believe in?
Did you already find where Poland is?
I give you permission to continue the conversation with yourself
Lack of arguments, isn’t it?
don’t try on a nation that needs to be told not to heat up the cat in a micro wave oven ;-)
The Germans are no different than they were back then during the hey dey of the Nazis..just a veneer of tolerance exists...for the sake of selling cars.
When the State - the German state - can forcibly condemn a child to a psych ward..then we have nothing less than Stalinistic procedures embedded in society.
I do not know a lot about this Busekros Mumbo Jumbo since it is practially no issue in the German media. Therefore I can and will not refer to this special case but I can say something to our rules in general:
We Germans do place a high value into religious or educational freedom. But our concept is completely different to American ideas. There is a wide consensus among the German society that homeschooling is not wanted because we like to see the children's right on free information assured. The access to uncensored information is the real educational freedom. On one hand many parents are simply not able to teach their kids due to their own incapability on the other hand it is quite likely that religious extreme parents i.e. deprive their kids the basic information that they need to survive in our society and that they need to think in a free manner. In registered schools certain standards are guaranteed. Parents have the right to give their kids into private schools that meet their standard and also provide i.e. a religious program of their choice. Nevertheless the individual right of the kids on information will always be more important than the collective right of the families on self-determination in Germany.
It might sound quite offensive, but Evangelical Christian parents (that are those who usually try to homeschool kids in Germany from the Christian side) practically do not play a role in our society since they are only very few people. Practically irrelevant. It is unlikely that our laws are changed just because of this handful of Christian homeschoolers since we have to deal with much bigger groups (i.e. the 3.7% muslims in Germany) and their wish to open a parallel society. It would be idiotic to do so, since the outcome of such a policy would be for sure disastrous. Then we are not speaking about the Busekos, Konrad or whatever family anymore, then we are speaking about 500.000 trapped muslim kids that are forced to follow some islamistic cretinism in madrasas (koran-schools) because of a handful of Christian fundamentalists. Christian parents have the possibility into found religious schools that fit into our basic standards. Then their kids are provided with the basic information the German society considers as necessary and the beliefs of their parents at the same time. I have no problem with that. All this hullabaloo about homeschooling in Germany is somehow ridiculous.
Regards from Germany.
Post Scriptum
If someone is not consent with our laws he can leave the country and move within Europe. It is one of the privileges of citizens of EU-member nations to move freely within Europe. I.e. Austria offers the right to homeschool.
Europe is built on a foundation of Judaeo Christian principles...Muslims or Hindus or any other sect have no right to demand equal time in public school or any other kind of schools. Your statement reveals the fear that Euros are burdened by:
“...handful of Christian homeschoolers since we have to deal with much bigger groups (i.e. the 3.7% muslims in Germany) and their wish to open a parallel society...”
Stop kowtowing to the multicultural secularists who will bring nothing but doom to the continent.
