Fox is running one of my favorite commercials...a baby laughing. They have several of these. I love them.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. She is hoping for the purist Republicans to split and run a third party candidate.Sometimes I get tinhatted and start to think she is doing more than just hoping. And it would not be the diehard conservatives or the purist Republicans, who'd be dumb enough to follow a third party, so that isn't the candidate she'd encourage...IF she's encouraging any.

Bill Kristol just said that he sees a 5-way race now because Huckabee wowed a conference held yesterday.
What worries me a whole lot is that - in sort of the same dynamic as the effects of a third party candidate - one of these five could win with 21% of the vote - to use an extreme example.
I wish we had the Louisiana system of runoff this year, because we have so many candidates with good points, but no one candidate with “all” of the good points.
If we end up nominating a weak. ie, second tier, candidate because of such a split vote, there will be much less chance of winning the White House.

This seems to be the talking point as it is repeated in this Daily News article which makes Mrs. Clinton the savior:
(...) Chung Seto, organizer of an April fund-raiser and former executive director of the New York State Democratic Party, said event planners took "extraordinary measures" to ensure that the donations were lawful.
Insinuations to the contrary are "outrageous" and "racist," she said. "Donors who work hard every day - they are in the restaurant or garment industry - should not be questioned about why they choose to be involved in the political process."
Bo Jie Wu, a money-transfer store employee, told the Daily News he gave $1,000 to Clinton because he believes in her.
Hsiao Yen Wang, a nursing assistant, said it was a "pleasure" for her and her husband, a cook, to give Clinton $1,000 because "I would like to see the United States have the first woman President."

True. Tears up to a cabinet colleague’s accidental death only when when camera turns up. That was really stunning.

>>In August, Fieger was indicted on charges of conspiring to make more than $125,000 in illegal donations to Edwards’ 2004 presidential campaign. Team Edwards said it will give the money to charity if Fieger is convicted.<<
Fieger is running commercials here in MI stating that Trial Lawyers like Edwards and himself are the hope of America.
The slime.

McGraw-Hill has been giving subscritions to 'Business Week' for over 10 years - to up the numbers is my understanding. My copy still goes to the trash, regardless.
Strange that they say the Marine Foundation is not a charity, when it is on the 'approved' list of charitable donations for federal employees (per postal caller to Rush this week).

I suspect those numbers are way off. I do not know anyone who watches these shows outside of FR.
