We've known this for years. The TSA is a sick joke. As long as people
feel like the government is "doing something" about a problem, all is well in their minds.
Actual effectiveness doesn't get addressed very often when it comes to government programs.

Most flights late or cancelled anyway, so most people don’t care. News at 11.

Hey! Why was this thread pulled earlier!?
That comment re the one poster being a genius was hilarious!
“America is not at war;
The USMC is at war;
America be at the mall.”
“Hey, genius, that wasn’t “my comment”....that’s why I put it in quotes.”
Or something to that effect.
The USMC recruiting office in Berkley, CA stands ready to accept your
“John Hancock!”

Its worth noting the last time a flight originating from US soil that exploded via a bombing was in the 1960s.

I saw a TSA screener arguing with a 30 year old, blonde haired, blue eyed woman over the fact that a bottle she had in her baggage contained 3.4 ounces instead of 3. Part of it had been used, so technically it was under the limit, but the label showed 3.4, so he wasn't going to let it on the plane.
Franz Kafka would have killed himself in despair if he lived in the world we inhabit today.

I replied, "The world needs anal-rententive people like you. Keep up the good work!" I don't think he grasped the content of may back-handed compliment or I probably would have been strip searched.
