At least he tried. People deserve some credit for that.

He should take Tancredo and Duncan with him.

Yep, leaves beginning to fall, as are those in the third tier politically.

Its time to clear the deck for a final decision on who to support.
Others may see the decision as pragrmatic but for me its about conscience.

Good... one less pro-shamnesty Republican candidate.

And another one bites the dust, thank goodness. Brownback was by far one of the worst candidates left in the field.
I suspect Keyes and/or Tancredo will be next. Tancredo probably will run for Senate, and Keyes will remain in the same obscurity that he is now.

“Sources: Brownback to drop White House bid”
Too bad.
I’d hoped he’d keep up what he’d call “the good fight” so that every
person in the nation would know him by name.
And recognize his reputation as a supporter of ILLEGALS.
And have a good chuckle at his nick-name of “Switchback”; which was
well-earned when he switched his “Yea” to “Nay” during the last vote
for “comprehensive immigration reform”.
Brownback talks a good game on issues of morality, abortion, etc.
But “in the clutch”, he’s just another political hack.

He ran a stupid campaign. He went negative early and never recovered.
He entered the campaign with a better reputation amongst Republicans than that with which he leaves.

After his proposal for the US Congress to apologize for slavery, he should have a bit of his conservative credentials stripped.

He must have been running a very obscure campaign . . . I thought he dropped out months ago.

Actually having a choice is a good thing. Wish they would all be on the ballot.
Republicans run moderates masquerading as conservatives.
Demoncats run lefties masquerading as moderates.
Extremely bad situation.

Good, because some of the reports lately had him pandering to beat the band in an apparent attempt at keeping his slim hopes alive. He had far less chance than a polar bear on an ice floe anyway.

Excellent.
Now we just need the Huckster and Tancredo to drop. Probably Keyes too.
Then it’d just be Giuliani, Romney, McCain (who should’ve dropped by now), Thompson, Hunter, and Paul for laughs.

Not a bad Senator, and better than anything the Dems put forth this cycle. Maybe, if he runs for Governor in KS and wins, he could try again later.
