A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day

Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997.   Over 200,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY

Welcome to Warm Fuzzy Wednesday at the Finest. For those who start counting the days on Monday until the weekend, we're halfway there! So we're here to banish those doldrums and make you smile inside! Please feel free to post sweet graphics and/or little stories that make you feel all warm and fuzzy - or just come by and give us a smile. Only two more days 'til the weekend!

Hope your daughter mends well.. what a bummer she is going through this Deb. BTW I loved following your activities in DC at the GOE last month. So proud of you for spending time & money to support what I know you believe in so very thoroughly.

If you posted pix somewhere I may have missed them. I still want to go back to the AAR & check the new additions/posts as I just went twice a few days apart right after the initial posting

you know we are being such “cautious” supporters here in Cleveland. We are so afraid to get our hopes up too high because we always seem to get “eliminated” along the way ... but we are proud of our men this year & really hope next game will be the last.

IF we go to the World Series, Colorado will be awesome competitors & are a very good/tough team.

cute pix. we dont have many squirrels (or chipmunks ) around here because of the kitties that are in abundance.

We do have lots of birds. I have been watching one blue jay diving down to one of my potted plants & taking something white regularly (the cats are watching him also) for the past week

Realized he is taking the egg shells I put in pot. I recycle most things for mulch & soil enrichment.. including egg shells & coffee grounds (which I have very little of), potato peelings etc

In the one pot I have a couple dozen egg shells.. so what on earth she is doing with them not sure. It is too late in season for nesting.. maybe eating them? Tomorrow I plan to put them in basket higher on tree linb so the bird is safer from the vigilant cats.

She was such a trooper! No tears for my tough little girl :)

Thank you for your sweet words. I have to say I will go anywhere in the world to tell someone about Don and that he died doing what he believed in. That is the very least I could do for Don.

His birthday is the 23rd. He would have been 36 years old.

Saw movie 3:10 to Yuma tonight.. wow, it was a good flick (well lots of shooting/violence) but true western. Christian Bale & Russell Crowe both did a great job in their roles. Many of my friends recommended it & Rotten tomatoes gave it a great review. would recommend it for folks who liked westerns of old & thinking nothing as good is done anymore.P> Loved the sets, the old steam engine, the weaving in of history & yes even some stereotypical things that were fun.

It is NOT a light movie. If you cant handle blood & violence, this is not your movie.

awe..........that is my son’s age... (well, Jeff is 35).

I know you miss him terribly & he would be so proud of the way you are mothering the kids & supporting the cause he believed so strongly in

Kitty, your little squirrel is so cute. Mine here uses the birdbath all the time. I love to watch them when they are running ‘round and round’ my trees, chasing one another. They may be trying to mate when they do that~~~

Thank you, Sweet jaycee! I Think the Cutest Thing I've Seen Here at the King's Ranch was 5 Baby Squirrels Playing and Chasing Each Other. That was the Only Time I've Ever Seen that Adorable Sight!

Have a Beautiful Thursday, my Finest FRiend.
