Governor Blasted for Signing 'Sexual Indoctrination' Bills By Susan Jones CNSNews.com Senior Editor October 15, 2007

(CNSNews.com) - A conservative group says private schools and home schooling will be the only sanctuary for California parents when two "school sexual indoctrination" laws take effect on Jan. 1.

California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger -- without comment -- signed four bills backed by the homosexual community over the weekend, two of them dealing with public schools. (Gov. Schwarzenegger vetoed similar bills last year when he was running for re-election, conservative groups noted.)

"Arnold Schwarzenegger has delivered young children into the hands of those who will introduce them to alternative sexual lifestyles," said Randy Thomasson, president of Campaign for Children and Families (CCF), which helped lead the statewide charge against these bills.

"This means children as young as five years old will be mentally molested in school classrooms. Shame on Schwarzenegger and the Democrat politicians for ensuring that every California school becomes a homosexual-bisexual-transsexual indoctrination center."

Current California law legally protects California public school students from harassment as a result of skin color, ethnicity or sexual orientation. The California Student Civil Rights Act (SB 777) updates specific anti-discrimination provisions that are scattered throughout the state's Education Code.

Supporters said the new law is supposed to eliminate "confusion" about the state's responsibility to ensure that all school programs, textbooks, instructional materials and activities are free from unlawful discrimination.

To quote John Fund: “Is Governor Schwarzenegger the Terminator, or is he a girly man?”

I remember how mad I was at Hugh Hewitt and some other conservative radio stations who insisted that only Schwarzenegger could be elected, so shut up, all you conservatives. Was it worth it?

They have long been indoctrinating the kids anyway. This just gives them power to impose consequences on those who refuse to do it. But enough do it willingly that the kids are increasingly lost causes. Look at the opinion polls.

I’m not sure Davis would have even thought of this outrage, but he may have, and he could have enlisted Arnold as his cheerleader-in-chief!

The conservatives leave CA, but there are so few of them that the transplants are turning NV, MT, CO, and AZ into future liberal strongholds. I think we are losing badly.

“Arnold is lining his cage so that he can get reelected; doesn’t want any conservative baggage that might hold him back.”

Arnie is termed out...this is it for him.

“...if not for Republican-first hacks like Sean Hannity.”

Hannity is doing it again. As the #2 radio host, he unfortunately has a lot of opportunity to influence a lot of people into believing this “Rudy is the only one that can win” mantra.

I really wish more wide reach conservatives would pick up the torch and name names when it comes to candidates with real conservative credentials.

This is what happens when you put a RINO into office. Yet there are people on FR who are perfectly willing to vote for Rudy or Mitt. And this is why I’ll never vote for Rudy or Mitt...not ever.

Why do Californians keeping putting these people in power?

Half can not speak english and a quarter can not read.

They pull the lever their leaders tell them too.

Once California led the nation in education, today it is a multi cultural joke. I guess if they are not teaching them to read and do math they can at least prepare them for the perverse culture they live in

I never thought I would regret recalling Gray Davis, but I am actually considering going into the regret mode.

When it looked like Arnold was going to win, I voted for McClintock, but against the recall. It was the hardest vote I've ever cast, but perhaps the best considered.

Are you calling the CAGOP leadership a bunch of illiterate morons?

If so, I'm with you.

The CA GOP leadership has been totally and completely infiltrated, IMO.

He's always been a RINO, but now, IMO, he's crossed the line. He no better than a stinking liberal, just like his Uncle Teddy is. IF I lived in CA, I would be packing today to move, and I sure as heck wouldn't move to NM. Our governor is worse.

I’ve been telling people for years, that your children are effectively wards of the state from the moment they step on the bus until the moment the step off at the end of the school day if they attend public schools.

I am generally called names for this, but it is effectively the truth.

California’s exodus needs to rapidly increase. No sane rational caring parent can subject their children to this nonsense.

This of course will also affect the rest of the country as California is one of the largest purchasers of Textbooks... so even if your state is sane, you likely will have textbooks entering your system in a few years that won’t refer to mother or father etc etc.

People in California should be “storming bastille” over this.

Ahnold and the legislature should be tarred and feathered and dragged through the streets for even contemplating this lunacy, let alone passing and signing it.

The tree of liberty is long past its time for refreshing in California.
