LOL...this is what you win if you are the successful bidder...
As winning bidder, you get:
- The original and infamous “Harry Reid Smear” letter, signed by 41 Democat senators
- The Halliburton briefcase in which this letter is secured 24 hours a day
- A personal letter of thanks from the Man Who Runs America, Rush Limbaugh
- A photograph of Rush displaying the letter on stage in Philadelphia on October 11th
* I want the Halliburton briefcase!! ;)

“The 41 dems should match the donation if they really care about the soldiers. I intend to email my two senators(Dorgan and Conrad) when it is over to urge them to match the final bid. Its the least they can do, the flippin morons.”
I’m from ND too, glad to see you claim those two as “your senators” kuz they sure ain’t mine!
Ha!
BTW great idea ....

I have to believe that Limbaugh's staff got this idea from my post of September 25:
Bill Clinton, Eatery At Odds Over Chelsea Photo:
On official William Jefferson Clinton letterhead, was a threat to take further action: "We reserve the right to exercise any and all options available to us if you refuse to comply." Here's a simple solution: Take the picture down and sell the letter on eBay.

I wonder if that guy caved in to the Clinton machine and took the picture of the “White House Dog” down.

On second thought the guy could make a fortune selling both the picture and the letter on E Bay. How would the Clinton machine handle that one?

They'd audit the guy to see if he paid taxes on the income. Then they'd claim that they still "own" the letter somehow, since it was a legal instrument from them.

Check out
my post on the other Limbaugh Letter thread. Senator Robert Byrd's signature is phony on the Phony Soldier letter!

I saw that a while ago. Nice catch. Kind of makes you wonder what else do his staffers do that he takes credit for.

BTW, Rush is a genius for dealing with the letter in this fashion. Of course this was my first thought too. But the I wondered if it was Snerdly's (Golden) idea. There's something very strange about Golden never substituting for Rush with all the mediocre subs (except for Williams) he has these days. Anyone who has ever listened to Golden knows the guy is an inventive genius. (E.g. When Hillary said years ago that she wanted to have a second child, he had a "Name Hillary's baby," contest.) The other thing that bothered me was Rush's challenge to the Dim Senators. Wouldn't it have been better for him to have said that he will donate his own money equal to the amount received from the auction to the Marine charity if he expects to make an example of Reid, The CSQ, Schumer, et al. for not doing so?

Rush said he already has donated plenty of money to this particular charity.
