Well, it appears to have stalled at $40,200 over night. Guess people had to sleep on it. Drudge even put up a link to ebay after it hit 40 G's. Bumping for the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation charity!

Rush’s maneuver has me filled with joy. Can you imagine how gratifying it would be if the Republicans would fight the ‘Rats this imaginitively and effectively?

The man is gifted. There is no other way to say it.

Our local talk radio morning host, Michael Smerconish (who is more liberal/libertarian than conservative) was there at Rush's Philadelphia appearance when he announced auctioning off the letter.

Smerconish offered that Limbaugh is almost amazing to watch in action.

I doubt if many Mormons would claim Dingy Harry.

So this why the dems have called in Sandy Berger. I bet he will ask Rush to allow him to review the letter for authenticity before bidding....watch out Rush.

Frankly, I am very surprised that it is $42,200 this early. On eBay serious bidders place their bid at the last moment.

The theory being “Why show your hand before you have to?”

I know people who try to time their last bid and confirmation just a second or two before time runs out. That way if your bid is the highest (It may not be because the current high bidder may have actually bid higher than the posted bid. They only post a bid price that was higher —by the required increment— than the previous bid.) your competition does not have time to respond.

I think they are trying to make sure Girlene gives up early. It worked! :-)

WOO HOO!! It's on the move again! $40,400!

He and the other 40 idiots should be embarrassed.

Harry POS Reid and the other 40 who attacked an innocent American should resign.

The sentiment seems to be that the winning bid amount should be matched by all signing senators i.e. $100,000 divided by 41.
I am encouraging that each senator alone should match the winning bid i.e. $100,000 X 41!!!!!!

It is a cliche that when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. Rush has just opened his own lemonade stand.
