Jefferson County is where Birmingham is located and many leading GOP politiicans, Betty Fine Collins (sp?) spoke at the poll. This was a major blow-out for the Paul forces. It is remarkable that native son, Fred Thompson did so poorly.

It seems he locked up the jackass, chimp, and ape vote. All the doves voted for him , too.

I think you just won the sore loser prize. Do you also overturn checker games when you don’t win?
To: Captain Kirk
Ron Paul takes Fred Thompson’s home county? This will hurt the Thompson campaign.

The jokes just about write themselves.

Ron Turd only won because of the baboon vote. The chimpanzee and orangutan vote were split.

held Saturday at the Birmingham Zoo. You would have thought that they would let Ron Paul out of the zoo on weekends, at least.

How does someone that shows as 1% (within -1% or+ 1% error) be said to be “winning”?

I haven’t been so impressed since Al Gore won the Nobel Peace Prize.
