Mom' and 'Dad' banished by California
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | October 13, 2007

"Mom and Dad" as well as "husband and wife" have been banned from California schools under a bill signed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who with his signature also ordered public schools to allow boys to use girls restrooms and locker rooms, and vice versa, if they choose.

"We are shocked and appalled that the governor has blatantly attacked traditional family values in California," said Karen England, executive director of Capitol Resource Institute.

"With this decision, Gov. Schwarzenegger has told parents that their values are irrelevant. Many parents will have no choice but to pull their children out of the public schools that have now become sexualized indoctrination centers."

"Arnold Schwarzenegger has delivered young children into the hands of those who will introduce them to alternative sexual lifestyles," said Randy Thomasson, president of Campaign for Children and Families, which worked to defeat the plans. "This means children as young as five years old will be mentally molested in school classrooms.

"Shame on Schwarzenegger and the Democrat politicians for ensuring that every California school becomes a homosexual-bisexual-transsexual indoctrination center," he said.

If the Republican party doesn't wake up, it are going to lose its base.

The Republican Party is on its last gasp.
Most Republicans today buy into at least half of the gay/lesbian/socialist/anti-smoking/global-warming agenda.
Compromise is no longer just holding the line but moving rapidly leftward.

***Banning Mom and Dad and Husband and Wife will never change Mom and Dad and Husband and Wife no matter how many laws they make nor how many laws this idiot signs.***

I’m sorry, cubreporter, but it WILL change when your child says to the teacher, “My Mom ( or my Dad) says...” Remember, legally in CA there are no moms or dads. The parent is liable for the child’s statement and can be hauled into court. Our kids will have to call us something like Housekeeper or Money Earner.

This has NATIONAL implications in school books.

Folks you need to have your states REQUIRE the text books INCLUDE father and mother/ dad and mom.

Otherwise book publishers are going to foist this california law on the smaller states by “availability”

***The Governor of California will do no better and may be laying the foundation for others to ridicule him across the generations.***

I can only pray that you are right. Perhaps the people will be so shocked that this bill will snap back on the libs.

A perfect example as to why I am supporting Alan Keyes and Duncan Hunter. I will not vote for a RINO. I pray none of the heads from the three headed Rudy McRommney beast get the nomination.

***In fact the teacher’s union will probably like that there are fewer kids that have to be dealt with.***

From what I’ve read the teacher’s union would NOT like having less kids to teach since they lose government money that way.

“This legislation will only increase and accelerate the popularity of home schooling.”

Perhaps I wasnt clear in my last post. My point is that you can run but you cant hide. If you think by homeschooling or sending your kids to a private school is going to insulate you your wrong. They are coming for you next. The better solution is to take them on and reverse this in the public setting. We should be out front and united, we need to stand up and start boycotting companies and organizations. We need to be much more than just words on a screen or a person on the phone. Either we take back our country in a bold way or we live with what they impose on us.

Unfortunately too many on here are willing to sacrifice their morals and vote for a RINO because they think it will slow the train wreck. I would rather have one bold conservative among a hundred leftists than a 50 RINOs that sit there and say nothing.

We are at a crossroads. California usually is a premonition of things to come. It doesnt look good.

We all knew Schwarzenegger was pro-abortion way before he 1st won the governorship. It’s a good rule that if a politician supports abortion he is capable of any evil imaginable--and unimagined.

THINK OF A PRESIDENT RUDY!

This is one of the most evil (and I do mean satanically evil) things the State and the Govenator could have done.

IIRC-Schwarzenegger recently said he was a “good Catholic” he is an absolute heretic and the Pope should personally and formally excommunicate him.

The family unit is the basic building block of civilization and this cancerous poison is a large part of why we are sinking.

If the other 49 states tell the book publishers that they won’t buy the California book, they would outnumber California schools, and California would be out of luck.

If we let the readers of the World Net Daily pick our president we would probably end up with another born again Jimmy Carter as president.

This isn't all that recent a development.

In the 60s we did a remodel on a day care center for children that lived in student housing at UCLA .

There was only one gang bathroom with no stalls or partitions for all the children and the teacher to use.

The mental training for this has been going on for a long time.

who with his signature also ordered public schools to allow boys to use girls restrooms and locker rooms, and vice versa, if they choose.

That's sounds like a stretch... what teenage boy wouldn't then want to use the girls locker room?

Of course, in California there could be a variety of reasons boys would want to use the girls locker room...

Never happen for me. I’d pull them out of school so fast their heads would spin. NO ONE will ever tell my kids they can’t say mom and dad nor me husband or wife.

Easy solution, don’t send your kids to public schools

Not a solution. So your kids ok, but the millions of other kids your kid will go through life with will be completely messed up. They will be terrible parents, and bad citizens. It harms our country more than you can think, and this must be reversed. That means ALL of us have to work on it.

If NY and Calif go lock step they probably dwart the other states’ book purchases.

This is one which the bias power needs to be taken out of the hands of unelected administrators.

I read the bill. I saw that they have added "disability" and "sexual orientation" into the public school discrimination law. It spelled out sexual orientation to include heterosexual, homosexual and bisexual. It redefined "gender" from the biological gender at birth to add something that included what appears to be cross-dressers and transsexuals.

Nauseating enough.

However, I didn't see anything about banning "Mom" and "Dad" or "husband and wife." Nor did I see anything that addresses boys being allowed to go into girls' locker rooms or bathrooms or vice versa.

Perhaps a hyperbolic interpretation by the author?

IF there is ever another Civil War in this country, it will be the government of Kalifornia and her followers everywhere against the rest of us.

Kalifornia is pushing every major liberal issue (AGW, Gays, Illegal Immigration, anti-white male, anti-Christian, anti-gun rights, etc) to a new level.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not advocating, but I think I see it coming.
