Like many Americans, I hung our country’s flag on Sept. 11, 2001. Since then several flags have worn out and been replaced and retired. But it may finally be time to furl the latest flag and put it away for good. That seems to be the patriotic thing to do. At least according to Barack Obama. Counting liberals on the head of a flag pin
If this keeps up, pretty soon Barack Hussein Obama will have to start burning American flags at rallies and shouting 'Death to America!' to remain a viable Democrat candidate.
The latest Fox News poll shows a sizable chunk of the Democrat Party thinks the world would be better off if the U.S. lost the war in Iraq. "Only" almost 40 percent of Democrats either want the U.S. to lose or are on the fence.
Sensing an opening, Obama bragged to a reporter in Iowa that he doesn't wear an American flag pin on his lapel out of love for America. The sight of someone not wearing a flag pin just makes you swell up with pride and patriotism!
Come to think of it, liberals call our troops Nazis, losers, torturers, cold-blooded murderers and their commander in Iraq a traitor -- this must be an outpouring of patriotism then.
Obama "explains" that he took his flag pin off after he noticed that people wearing the flag pin weren't acting as patriotic as Obama. He points out that after 9/11 he put a flag pin on out of patriotism, then he heard people "talking about" war and deposing Saddam Hussein, so then he took his flag pin off out of patriotism. Maybe it has something to do with that middle name of his.
By Obama's shrewed logic, if you don't have a 'Vote for Obama' button pinned to your chest, you support Obama! Or if you don't wear a Red Ribbon, you're trying to promote AIDS awareness.
"I decided I won't wear that (flag) pin on my chest," said patriotic Obama. "Instead, I'm going to tell the American people what I believe will make this country great." We'll see if Obama yanks off his wedding ring because 'I'm going to tell Michelle what I believe will make her a great wife.'
Liberals complain hysterically that Republicans are now attacking Obama's patriotism, which is like being accused of attacking the Breck Girl's manhood. According to Obama, "true patriotism" consists of "speaking out on issues that are of importance to our national security" -- which, if you're Obama, means demanding Habeas Corpus for al-Qaeda, sobbing about "warrantless wiretaps", sobbing that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed got roughed-up, nagging endlessly about Guantanamo, whining about Blackwater, whining about Iraq, calling Gen. Petraeus a traitor then spending all last week attacking a radio talk show host.
No sooner had the New York Times "reported" on "secret memos" 'proving' Bush mistreats those little darlings held at Guantanamo and elsewhere than Obama released a statement calling the memos he hadn't read an "outrageous betrayal".
In response to Bush's unsavory practice of preventing terrorist attacks, liberals scream that Bush is running an Auschwitz-Birkenau down in Guantanamo, yet, for all the torturing Bush's doing, you wouldn't know it from your run-of-the-mill Gitmo jailbird who typically puts on 13 pounds while being "tortured" and "starved" to death there. The typical Gitmo menu STILL consists of culturally sensitive fresh fruit, honey-glazed chicken, rice pilaf, steamed peas and mushrooms, ginger chicken breast and lemon-baked fish -- all of it prepared by top-notch Navy cooks who run the death camp's kitchens.
Still not enough for hysterical libbies who yell "War criminal!" Every time some al-Qaeda or Taliban chap gets captured on the battlefield, the brutal war criminal goes for a legal opinion. Needle under the fingernail, tooth extractions, kneecapping, bone-breaking, boiling, flaying, beatings -- none of this stuff is allowed under The Barbaric Bush "Torture Regime". Bush is just not that kind of "war criminal".
Lenin and Stalin and Mao and Pol Pot earned honored places in the pantheon of left-wing heroes, but dunk Mohammed in water and libbies are ready to try Bush at the Hague.
For six long years it's been patiently explained to Hillary, Swimsuit, the Breck Girl et al that al-Qaeda is not a signatory to the Geneva Conventions. That "al-Qaeda" is not Arabic for "Afghanistan." That inmates at Guantanamo are not prisoners of war. But it never sinks in, even when using crayons and lots of pictures. Reports indicate al-Qaeda blows up schools, hospitals, markets, restaurants, airports, churches, synagogues, mosques, gay bars, flies planes into buildings, takes hostages, removes heads from hostages, cranks out snuff videos, etc. Still, out of patriotism, liberals insist on calling them "militants", not terrorists, and that the Geneva Conventions apply. Al-Qaeda honcho and 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed 'militated' Daniel Pearl by gripping him by the hair, then hacking his head off, yet libbies think blasting music in his ears is too mean and want Bush to stop -- their effort to Win One for The Gripper.
Liberals insist the war can be won by bombarding al-Qaeda with search warrants and indictments yet, when Bush indicts, they complain there's 'not enough' evidence. They say there's 'not enough' evidence against the Holy Land Foundation even though it got caught funneling loads of cash directly to Hamas. No big deal, Holy Land's just a "charity" -- CAIR says so -- and Hamas's just a roving band of philanthropists.
With the Breck Girl campaigning from the left and Hillary campaigning from the left, Swimsuit had to cough up something showing he loathes America as much or more than they do, but if this 'I ditched the flag pin in order to think about national security' is the best he can do, he's an empty swimsuit. You can wear the flag pin and still rack up leads in key early states if Democrat voters there know you're faking it, as Hillary's doing, especially since Cackle's up against a spectacularly weak field -- rookie senator, Kerry's loser running mate, another reject (passed over for second spot on Kerry’s ticket), serial plagiarist, has-been Alaska ex-senator, Gov. Richardson (who'll create millions of jobs but couldn't find one for Monica), and there's . . . Dennis Kucinich.
Gore and Kerry and now Cackles -- three big reasons why Republicans end up winning elections. Poor, poor libbies.

It's sometimes "depleting" when you look around and realize the array of enemies that have gathered against freedom.
Thankfully, we can stop here and enjoy the wit of our fellow patriots, have a chuckle and find ourselves renewed for battle.

I truly wish we would stop calling them “liberals” and call them what they ARE- LEFTISTS. There is nothing “liberal” in what they believe. Nor is it new.
They are NOT patriotic as they are so very wont to claim, again and again. They do NOT “love” this country. They do NOT support OUR troops. They are NOT keeping America “honest” and holding to the Constitution by dissent. They do NOT believe in our traditions OR our law. Most don’t even KNOW our history. And the majority of them are stupid- not a slam, just a fact.
Those that are the real leaders of this “movement” (and I DO count Hillary in this group) are the children of the “philosophes” who have been behind every “revolution” since Rome was an empire. These people will never believe anything else but that the “people” (the serfs, the slaves, the rednecks, the minorities, the ‘middle class’- whatever the popular word is for the rest of us) don’t know how to self-govern, can’t think for ourselves and sure as hell don’t have the right to have ANY say in what happens to us, or to our country. Our ONLY purpose is to fund and maintain their power. The eugenicists, the abortionists, the lawyers, most politicians, the idle wealthy and the self-promoters are ALL part of a class of elitists who have nothing but contempt for the rest of us. They believe that the elites, the evolved, should rule and the rest of us merely to serve.
These people failed in Germany and Russia, most recently, because they tried to accomplish their ends way too fast. It seems they may have increased their learning curve. Keep us like frogs in pots- in other words, they try to appeal to us by luring us with things we think we want. Minority “rights” (read: entitlements); Health insurance we don’t think we will have to pay for and we think will be just grand (until we try to USE it); public education to keep OUR kids dumb while theirs go to private schools; tax increases on the “rich” (until we find out WE are the ‘rich’); “rights” and validation of all the little perversions most of us are so fond of; no reform for silly but successful lawsuits that are sometimes better than winning the lottery....the list goes on. Seducing us with the things we THINK we want is exactly how Satan works, isn’t it?
Most conservatives are truly compassionate and humane and don’t want ANYONE to suffer. This is understandable. But we must begin to learn that justice (the REAL kind) doesn’t come from the government- it never HAS. Humanity comes from US- “We the people”. It is from here that we get rights, inalienable and guaranteed, charity and fairness. In the years since the Founding, it is the PEOPLE that have made this country prosperous and wealthy, advanced and militarily mighty. None of that has come from the “government”. This is also the most diverse country on the planet. We are the ones who have learned to work together, live together and intermarry. I promise you, there is not another country on the planet that has the interbreeding that we have here. Tiger Woods is just one example, Halle Berry another- the list goes on- including one of my grandbabies. Government sure didn’t do THAT.
We need to trust ourselves.
For those “ordinary” people who think they are “liberals”- you need to get off your lazy butts and LEARN. You vote for leftists because you think it makes you “compassionate” and republicans are so “mean” (as opposed to being belly-up cowards). It only shows your complete ignorance of the issues and history. You aren’t “liberal”- you are stupid.
Those minorities who vote for the left because they think it will keep the gravy train running, you need a clue. Do you REALLY think that when these people accomplish what they want to do to the rest of us that they will see YOU any differently than they see the rest of us? Are you REALLY that dumb? You think you can still stay at home on your couches getting fat and watching Oprah? Getting high and drunk? Having enough out-of-wedlock babies to man a basketball team? Heads up folks- that train is about to run you over. They will use you until they don’t need you anymore. Want proof? What other group treats you like you all think with one brain and you allow it?
It worries me that so many of us- including some true conservatives- do NOT see the evil all around us. I have been watching this unfolding here since the late 50s, but I have to admit it still took me a long time to see it as well. We are Americans (and ALL that implies). There has never been a country or a people like this in all of human history. WE have the power, for a little while longer, to change what is happening here. And we need to learn what THEY learned- it doesn’t happen overnight.

Well, the lieberals took-over TV in the '50s, and threw away radio. Now, they're pissed-off because the Conservatives use radio so very well.
I've watched this Internet-thingy develop since Bill Gates made it 'Computer-Friendly', and I'm happy to see that Conservatives have finally learned the power of it. The defeat of the so-called 'Shamnesty-bill' a while back is a refreshing sign.
Lieberals were always good at organizing little bitchy demonstrations, but Conservatives are good at getting things done!
