Washington, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Duncan Hunter (R-CA), ranking member on the House Armed Services Committee, joined his Republican colleagues today in condemning attacks against conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh.
“Yesterday, several Congressional Democrats openly attacked Rush Limbaugh for comments that were misrepresented and taken well out of context. These were nothing more than slanderous, partisan attacks meant only to satisfy the left-wing activists of the Democratic Party.
“Whether on or off the air, Limbaugh has been a long-standing and strong supporter of our military men and women. Rather than creating controversies, Democrats in Congress should invest their time and energy into ensuring our troops have the resources and support they need to achieve victory. If they want to show support for our troops, that is how they can do it.”

What? Posting Hunter’s statement here? Duncan Hunter made the statement 10 days ago.
That is called, projection.

This conservative isn’t confused about the fact that Fred defended Rush long before this guy figured out which way the wind was blowing. “Come around eventually ...indeed”
Interestingly enough, Rush may have to cover Hunter now. I just sent this out to the MSM national list. Everyone will see Hunter made this statement. Rush will only leave himself open for more criticism now if he doesn’t acknowledge Hunter.
The DNC may have done us a big favor :)

I think there is an active campaign out there for the media to ignore him as much as possible, and that is motivated by a very real fear of him for his potential as a winner.
well then, what makes it a story of such importance NOW?
I have Fred’s first statement on this subject back on October 3, same day Hunter’s press release came out. Do you have a source prior to October 3?

When it comes to anything about defending the military and its allies, Duncan Hunter doesn’t take a back seat to anyone.

There is an effort underway to convince as many conservatives as possible that the right choice is Duncan Hunter. We are concerned about those who foolishly chase after the more moderate “top tier” candidates thinking that they are “conservative enough” because only they can beat Hillary. We have the countries and your best interests at heart!:)
Wow. Hunter is the only current candidate who talks like this. The last one before him who sounded like this was Reagan.
