WASHINGTON Mexico's former President Vicente Fox is making no secret of his desire to promote a "North American Union" to compete economically with Europe and the Far East.
In a promotional tour for his new book, "Revolution of Hope," Fox told NPR's "Talk of the Nation" audience: "That's part of my Americas dream, that we can build our future together. We are partners with United States and Canada through NAFTA. There are other blocs in Latin America, but at the very end a continental trade agreement and union on the long term would be a way to develop ourselves and to be able to have the standards and level of living that we all need."
Fox shocked many in the U.S. earlier in the week when he told CNN's Larry King that he and President Bush had agreed to work toward a common currency not only for North America but for Latin America as well.
It was possibly the first time a top official of Mexico, Canada or the U.S. openly confirmed a plan for a regional currency. Fox explained the current regional trade agreement that encompasses the Western Hemisphere is intended to evolve into other previously hidden aspects of integration.
According to a transcript published by CNN, King, near the end of the broadcast, asked Fox a question e-mailed from a listener.
"Mr. Fox, I would like to know how you feel about the possibility of having a Latin America united with one currency?"
Fox answered in the affirmative, indicating it was a long-term plan. He admitted he and President Bush had agreed to pursue the Free Trade Agreement of the Americas a free-trade zone extending throughout the Western Hemisphere, suggesting part of the plan was to institute eventually a regional currency.

Tell me one thing then:
Why is it that the same people that were calling Vicente Fox a lying bastard a year ago are believing every word he says now?
It will be interesting to see if Pres. Bush denies this.
Have been trying to ferret out the government stuff on 2012.
There seem to be 100’s of versions of a dozen or two scenarios.
I don’t know what to think, much less what to believe about that.
HOWEVER, THIS I DO KNOW:
1. a fairly trusted associate was going on for 7-12 sentences or so about the horrible event coming in 2012 that we did NOT WANT TO KNOW ABOUT—it was TOOOO HORRIBLE AND HOPELESS TO EVEN THINK ABOUT. Associate M insisted we would NOT want to know about it. Associate M has plenty of contacts and had evidently learned something solid.
2. I later mentioned that to some others. One of my other friends went back and asked associate M about it and associate M denied ever saying such a thing. Shocking to me. I’d have never guessed that Assoc M would deny anything truthful. Very puzzling.
3. Some seemingly quality scientists of a couple of different groups or more are indicating that there’s some sort of galactic plain sort of thing that comes around every so many 10’s of thousands of years and causes near extinction on earth every time it does. I don’t know what to make of that info but it all sounds reasonably plausible.
4. Some have claimed that’s the date when the globalists will overtly implement the global government. I don’t think so. But could be.
5. Some have postulated that’s when the war with ET will begin. Conceivable.
6. Some have postulated that’s when a massive meteor will crash into the earth starting a global winter.
7. Some have said that’s when the sun will put off so much extra heat due to some sort of galactic plain cycle that most life on earth will be exterminated. Interesting notion. It is also reported that the Hopis have known of this for centuries and have been busily digging deep kivas to store seeds etc. to ride out the 2-3 weeks of most deadly heat. I haven’t yet been able to verify that. Interestingly, the Bible also talks of the sun’s heat as being incredibly hot during some part of the end times.
Therefore what? I don’t know . . . but it seems to me . . . something more than a little interesting is looming.
Evidently, it is your belief
that 100% of every word coming out of every liar’s mouth is 100% of the time 100% a lie.
Sounds like a silly notion, to me.
His pontifications on this issue have been confirmed by 100’s of data points from at least dozens of sources.
Believe what you will. Sooner or later, you’ll have no choice. The facts will be assaulting you and your family.
Now, you have the luxury of disbelief. Some of us no longer have that luxury. We have seen far too much solid evidence to the contrary.
But, go ahead, enjoy the derisiveness, dismissiveness etc. It’s SOP around here at times on such issues.
Many folks were determined to think that Hitler was a wonderful choir boy, too. Some still do.
I think he’ll side step it. Laugh it off or rationalize it with some sort of non-answer statement.

He admitted he and President Bush had agreed to pursue the Free Trade Agreement of the Americas a free-trade zone extending throughout the Western Hemisphere, suggesting part of the plan was to institute eventually a regional currency.
‘Splains a lot.

INDEED.
We shall see where we each stand at the end of the era.
You will remember me and you will remember this thread and you will remember your assertions . . . with great grief.
Probably for the same reason that the folks who said he was absolutely truthful then are saying he's a lying bastard just trying to sell books now.
There are scum like that in every society.
But I have watched most of these Hispanic Americans - and I am an Anglo but live in a heavily Hispanic area. They work very long hours, they frequently hold more than one job, they open their own businesses. In the long run, as individuals, I view them as a plus for our society.
The problem HERE lies with Americans who are willing to allow Spanish as an unofficial second language - although I could live with THAT if English was adopted as the OFFICIAL language here, and Americans who pander to or profit from, illegal invaders.
There are problems with Hispanic governmental structure which would take a lot of work to straighten out. But the effort would be far less work than any similar endeavor with Red China or Russia (almost lost causes).
America was a free society long before we had our revolution from Britain. Our English history and heritage, along with geography gave us that advantage. The South American Revolutions on the other hand, merely exchanged a set of ruling oligarchs in Madrid with sets of oligarchs in Mexico City, Lima, etc.
The Oligarchs had no reason to exchange their dominance for democracy, a concept alien to them. The masses of exploited peasantry had no ability to do so or exposure to our experiences here in the North.
Today, the same situation still exists in most South American countries, and only when these people are presented with opportunities in a society like ours can they bloom.
So you have a point.
But I think the end result is worth the effort. Red China and the Islamic Neo-Kaliphate is our real enemy. And we need allies. Don’t look to the Euroweenies.
I say he was a liar then and now. What does that make me?
;-)
If they only use electronic cash cards it should slow up or halt the street sales of drugs. Will allow the big sales to go through with less competition. Can you imagine buying drugs on the street with your ATM CARD?
Yes,
IS the largest alternative news/discussion website on the planet.
PRAISE GOD for such a site.
It’s brazenly liberally loaded. The few of us conservative Christians who post there are vastly out numbered. Nevertheless, lots of very widely confirmed issues etc. get presented for discussion and for the alert of those perceptive and well read enough to read between the lines.
Some folks refuse to see the nose on their faces, much less the facts between the lines.
8. Some have postulated that all of you people are certifiably insane.
Your personal assaults are so sweet and colorful.
Thanks for your bother.

That’s my profession to assess such things.
Your excuse?
Back to pottery.
Your profession isn’t pottery I take it?
I have decided I like the big houses in Scottsdale. I think my family and one of theirs should form a union of some sort. It’s the same kind of thing.
