A mentally ill man threatened two Afghan shop workers with a knife because the voices in his head told him that Muslims were going to behead him, a court heard.
David McClay (42) admitted threatening and racially abusing two Afghan men working in a fried chicken outlet but said he was suffering from delusions at the time.
Lincoln Crown Court heard that McClay had drunk 12 pints of beer before going to USA Chicken in Long Sutton.
After watching news reports from Iraq, he became convinced that voices in his head were telling him that Muslims were all out to get him and would behead him.
Robert Underwood, in mitigation, said McClay, who has a paranoid personality disorder, had stopped taking his medication after a series of personal crises and had also been drinking heavily, which made him prone to delusions.
McClay, of Market Street, Long Sutton, had sworn and shouted at the two staff members, thrown a chair and then returned to the shop with a knife which he threatened to stab them with.
Judge Michael Heath, after hearing that McClay now had a package of mental health support, sentenced him to a two year community order with a requirement that he complete a substance abuse programme.

Why are they here? Is there any compelling reason as to why we had to let them in? If we chased all their dysfunctional, stoneage butts back to their big sandbox, will Western civilization even notice? You are on target. This particular incident took place in the UK. There are more laws now to protect the immigrants including illegals there than there own natural born citizens.
We will end up having the same laws here.
We bomb them one day and praise them in the WH the next day, it sends a confusing and unclear message to us all. We continue to open our doors, while we fight them over there. The old shoot them and give them a band-aid just doesn’t seem to work.
I would like to see us shut our immigration doors to all nations we consider terror sponsering. Otherwise it’s a joke, IMO.

I have been “dying” for several years now, it all started 65 years ago, when that doctor slapped me on my ass! I just really don’t want to waste my time on chickenshit. One of these days, my old hiney is going to come to a screeching halt, I just got to try to make that time matter! I am as good as dead, but my kids and grandkids won’t ever forget me, and that is all I ever asked for!
