Worse yet, the military is VISITING SCHOOLS, a desentization maneuver. What's next, ROTC on campus.
Forgetting the GWB and Israel did 9/11 nonsense, just the garbage in that post should be enough to keep a credible Presidential candidate away from Alex Jones.
Full discloture for the Jones/Paul fans, I visited both fire and police stations in elementary school, I may be brainwashed.

Sorry but you are wrong.
A Neo-Con was any one who was not a generational Republican.
Therefore Ron Paul, who switched parties to get elected is indeed, a Neo-Con.

Perhaps you should do so.
Neo-Con is someone who switches from another political party to being a Republican. They mostly were Democrats but they can include other political parties as well.
Neo meaning "New"
Con meaning "Conservative"
Ron Paul switched from being a Libertarian to the GOP. Ron Paul is a Neo-Con.

I couldnt help borrowing Ministry of Silly Explanations for a headline addition.Well, as the un-official FR Prime Minister of silly explanations, I am more than happy to take a crack at it. I appreciate the opportunity to demonstrate my ample skills at political spin...
Mr. Paul is exercising his Consitutional rights under the 21st Amendment...he was drunk when he agreed to go on Alex Jones' show.
The judge has thrown the book at him and issued strict instructions from the bench.
Ron has agreed to enter rehab. Do I win the award for silliest explanation? What is my prize? A lifetime supply of rice a roni, free copy of the FR homegame?:-)

Sorry but you are wrong. A Neo-Con was any one who was not a generational Republican. Therefore Ron Paul, who switched parties to get elected is indeed, a Neo-Con.Maybe in your world. For those of us not in the alternate universe, "neoconservative" is a name chosen for themselves by a group that loosely formed around Irving Kristol and the Norman Podhoretz. To quote Kristol:
ever since its origin among disillusioned liberal intellectuals in the 1970s, what we call neoconservatism has been one of those intellectual undercurrents that surface only intermittently.

If you can find an instance where Paul applied it to himself you'll have an argument. But he didn't, he didn't begin as a disillusioned liberal and he doesn't consider himself part of their movement. Paul is some sort of libertarian 'Constitutionalist'.

"Neo-Con is someone who switches from another political party to being a Republican."You're wrong about this.
Please look it up, and stop assuming you know what it is without more information.
I know you are trying to find new ways to bash Ron Paul, but simply throwing ignorance at him is stupid.

"Im not a RP supporter..." You slickly left out the "but". Very nice, but transparent just the same. No comments reach the magnitude of insanity than to blame America for Islamic hate because the Saudis hosted our military on their soil.
I saw a lib and RP supporter with a sticker in Austin this weekend. One of the stickers besides the RP sticker said something like "America can't solve all Worlds problems".
Maybe, but it certainly shows the low expectations that RP supporters have of not only America, but our exceptionalism in the world.

Do you remember any zingers between Jones and Paul?
Did Paul continue to propagate Jones' nutball conspiracies?

Well...Ron Paul has himself said explicitly, several times, that he does not believe that 9/11 was done by the US government But...who is advising Ron Paul to go on this guy's show? I like Ron Paul...like both his domestic and foreign policies...but the staffer that set up these appearances should be fired...it really damages Paul's credibility
^^The only post of this thread that makes some sense. Does Ron Paul have good stances on some issues? Sure. Should he associate himself with the Alex Jones crew? No, probably not.
The election is a year away and I am already sick of it.

After Iraq is settled and we move on to the next major threat, some major league "See I Told You So" will be in order.
We won't be out of Iraq for a few more years... and you have us invading another country already?

Although I didn't say, invade another country, I will say that if that's what it takes, then we should not rule it out.
I'm amazed at how quickly the bed wetters out there lose control of their functions.

I’ll be in Dallas the weekend of the 21st for the Cowboy-Viking game. No way to make it down to Austin since I only have three days.
But I’ll buy myself a BBQ dinner in the Metroplex and I’ll make a toast to you and pretend you paid for it.

The BBQ in Dallas is probably better than most places. However, Central Texas BBQ is the best of the best.
It is quite different than the rest of the State.
I'll be pulling for the Vikes.

Because I was born in Lafayette, Louisiana, and there is one thing that Texans don't mess with, and that is a Cajun. :)
Besides, I can't stand the micromanaging and coach ruining Jerry Jones. If not for him, I may like the Cowboys.

There is no such thing as “may like the Cowboys”. You either love them or hate them.
Right now I hate them watching MNF. Two picks by Romo, but there is something about this team and this QB.
I’m not even worried.
