Maybe Hillary already regrets making that statement and they are now ‘backtracking’ on it??

Hillary's way out is that she said she "helped start and support" some she started, some she just helped support.
Or she'll just laugh and say she can't remember.

Well Algore had so much fun founding the internet that Hillary had to found something too.

“Did she help start it?
WALDMAN: Uh, uh, no. I think she’s been somebody who encouraged it and was supportive like a lot of progressives.”
Sounds like she helped to start it — start, encouraged, whatever.

Many PAC's and so-called "nonprofits" are dirty dirty crooked organizations that produce NOTHING and leech off of the american taxpayer. Just a few short years ago when I first started posting about "nonprofits" here there were about 500,000. Today there are over 1,500,000.
We need to reform the laws in this country so that businesses like this Media Matters outfit can only exist as what it is, a business. And pay taxes like all other businesses. Just like Rush Limbaugh does.

By trying to create some distance between media matters and hillary, the media matters spokesman may be revealing how frightened they are by the new media’s counter attack against them.
Rush, Mark Levin, Clear Channel, and Fox are aiming for media matters’s non-profit status. To retain their non-profit status, media matters must not promote a single candidate. But they have been, and her name is hillary.
It may not be much, but by denying hillary, media matters may be caving in a little to the conservative media’s pressure.

Voters can’t be allowed to forget this.
Mediamatters is trying to downplay Hillary’s affiliation with them because they probably know it could hurt her in a general election.

John Gibson talked about David Brock, Hillary and Media Matters in his "My Word" segment today. It's at this link:
Here's an excerpt:
"It was started by a guy named David Brock who runs the online organization you're heard a lot about lately, Media Matters for America. Brock is a onetime conservative who wrote a book about his transformation from Clinton-hating muckraking author to conservative-hating crusader and Hillary Clinton confidante. They talk often, according to reports. And she claims to have co-founded Media Matters. In this transformation, he also discovered his true self and came out as a gay man.
Brock became a kneecapper for Hillary Clinton and George Soros. He first took office space in the office of John Podesta, former Clinton chief of staff, who was running the Center for American Progress, a Soros-funded left-wing organization. Brock began attacking conservatives."

Liberal tactics dictate that conservative commentators speak as “we say or we’ll make you pay”!! Democratic soldiers cannot be disrespected by the media, but liberal Congressmen can humiliate and denigrate the CINC to their hearts desire with impunity. And they wonder why Congress has all time low confidence votes? The Congress needs housecleaning again!!

This comment on the Newsbusters thread caught my eye:
MMs is a 501-3c tax exempt organization under the irs code and they stand to lose that if it is determined they are politically based. That would be a devastating turn for them.
No wonder they are distancing themselves from HC's statement.
Is this correct?

TUCKER CARLSON: Here's part of what you wrote on the Huffington Post. Here's what you wrote: "Since Rush Limbaugh won't listen to us, we're going directly to Congress, which can prevent him from disrespecting and censoring the voices of our soldiers." Now with all respect, that's almost Orwellian. You're accusing him of censorship, and at the same time attempting to censor him by taking him off the air. WESLEY CLARK: Well, I think he's crossed the line, Tucker.
Word fail me...
