A Dream Team conservative administration? Well, Values Voters will have to confound the experts and the polls and get their candidate nominated first.

A bunch of big government socons (except for Tancredo) who want to run your life under the guise of faith. No thanks, I'll pass. Typical WND drivel

If Hunter isn’t going to show some draw, who is there besides Huckabee who can really lead the country?

Who that will not resort to posing and using technicalities such as their version of “federalism” to put obstacles in the way of the apriori principles upon which our nation was founded (Rights to Life, Liberty, and property).

I think it would be a good idea if a presidential candidate actually puiblished/voiced his cabinet well before the election.

We tend to focus on one man, and build him up or tear him down based on what we know of him ... and there is always the faction that knows more about him and says, "Well, yeah ... but .. " , and proceeds to explain what's wrong with him.

But as we all know, the presidency is an organization headed by a man, and if we knew going in, whom would be at what helm .. I think a lot of votes would be combined.

I admit, politics seems to be more convoluted than 20 or more years ago.

Well, Huckabee is not an ardent supporter of the war so I doubt he’d let Hunter near it.

He supports amnesty so not a chance for Tancredo.

And even he isn’t nuts enough to add keyes to his cabinet.

I really don’t care what newt and a few of these people are peddling. I wasn’t desperate enough to demand newt get in, I’m not so desperate I’d support Huckabee.

Give me one good reason I should. Even on the issue of social conservatism, my guess is that we’re world’s apart. on Judges. based on his love of government, I think it’s fair to deduce he wouldn’t look for a Justice like Thomas...he’s look for the right’s equivalent of Ginsberg. I don’t want activists on the court on left or right.

I have not fought republicans these last few years to a) elect a Republican speaking out against the war b) elect a Republican endorsing amnesty or ) elect a Republican that would look for more of an activist judge them another Thomas.

Three strikes...he’s out. This social conservative just says no.

What is wrong with WorlNetDaily? Do they think they are not irrelevant ENOUGH?

All the people listed above, taken as a group, would get somewhere south of 1% of the vote in a general election.

No way. Only Hunter and Tancredo are acceptable. Huckabee is a phony.

Mike Huckabee needs to stay out of my refrigerator and then perhaps I would take him seriously.

And second they would have to convince those named to accept those positions the named individual has not campaigned for.

With all that has been posted in the negative (and truthful) about Huckabee, I am surprised there was even an attempt to get this to gain traction here on FR.

Huckabee is good at selling - and comes across as a genuinely nice guy (haven’t we heard that about Bill Clinton too...), but in so many ways, Huckabee is one of the biggest Socialists running for the office. His nanny-state, big government, tax-and-spend mentality is enough to make a fiscal conservative want to jump off a bridge.

These kinds of Cabinet speculations are silly.

The nominee of either party it NOT going to load his Cabinet with a bunch of also-ran wannabes.

The winner is going to select his own people for those Cabinet positions.

Director of Heath and Human Services Alan Keyes

Notwithstanding the poor use of spell check by WND, this is insulting. Janet Folger is losing it, unfortunately. Huckabee is not what she thinks he is.

Can we please stick a fork in Huckabee and put him out of his misery. He seems like a nice guy and I wish him well in his future endeavors to combat that global health menace that almost killed him...bacon double cheeseburgers...for the greater good.

We don’t need to see his nanny state liberal policies of smoker bans and COMPASSIONATE CONSERVATISM ON STEROIDS on the federal level.

He is a liberal on every issue except two...he is pro-life and pro 2A. If he was a baseball player he would be batting .125 on limited government conservative issues.

Even EV doesn’t support him and he is a social conservative. Good luck in your private life Mike. Best wishes.
