Unity not only gets us a pro-family President, but it could get us an administration that looks something like this:
President Mike Huckabee
Defense Secretary Duncan Hunter
Director of Homeland Security Tom Tancredo
Attorney General Sam Brownback
Director of Heath and Human Services Alan Keyes
If we combine the votes of these good men, we move from the back of the bus into the driver's seat and select the nominee. It's not only our best way to win the White House, from where I sit, it's the only way. United we drive, divided we crash.

"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
A bunch of big government socons (except for Tancredo) who want to run your life under the guise of faith. No thanks, I'll pass. Typical WND drivel
Are yoy joking?
you that be :-)
LOL!!!!
Not necessarily. FReepers are opposed to politicians who want to regulate their lifestyles with smoking bans like Huckabee proposes, or to open borders like both Huckabee & Brownback supports, or reparations like Keyes supports.
I want a President, not a Daddy. I'm a grown man. Is that too hard to understand?
You know that is not fair to Duncan Hunter.
He is not a big-government kind of guy, unless you call voting for defense measures big-government.
I have already had my life threatened at least 10 times for being against illegal immigration. If they ever get me ping travis.
If Hunter isn’t going to show some draw, who is there besides Huckabee who can really lead the country?
Who that will not resort to posing and using technicalities such as their version of “federalism” to put obstacles in the way of the apriori principles upon which our nation was founded (Rights to Life, Liberty, and property).
We tend to focus on one man, and build him up or tear him down based on what we know of him ... and there is always the faction that knows more about him and says, "Well, yeah ... but .. " , and proceeds to explain what's wrong with him.
But as we all know, the presidency is an organization headed by a man, and if we knew going in, whom would be at what helm .. I think a lot of votes would be combined.
I admit, politics seems to be more convoluted than 20 or more years ago.
I didn’t include Hunter in my list, although Hunter does support limits to gambling and has a dismal record on spending. But overall Hunter’s not like Huckabee, Brownback, and Keyes is. He’s probably the most Reaganesque Republican in the race.
He is only half the package.
He is correct on most moral issues, the Death Penalty being the glaring problem.
He is definitely not a conservative when it comes to fiscal matters. His fiscal record while governor was lousy! He raised taxes and increased the size of government in drastic ways!
No thank you! No sale, no way.
And after his pandering performance at the Maryland debates, he ain’t much of a leader either!
Well, Huckabee is not an ardent supporter of the war so I doubt he’d let Hunter near it.
He supports amnesty so not a chance for Tancredo.
And even he isn’t nuts enough to add keyes to his cabinet.
I really don’t care what newt and a few of these people are peddling. I wasn’t desperate enough to demand newt get in, I’m not so desperate I’d support Huckabee.
Give me one good reason I should. Even on the issue of social conservatism, my guess is that we’re world’s apart. on Judges. based on his love of government, I think it’s fair to deduce he wouldn’t look for a Justice like Thomas...he’s look for the right’s equivalent of Ginsberg. I don’t want activists on the court on left or right.
I have not fought republicans these last few years to a) elect a Republican speaking out against the war b) elect a Republican endorsing amnesty or ) elect a Republican that would look for more of an activist judge them another Thomas.
Three strikes...he’s out. This social conservative just says no.

LITTLE ROCK (AP) — Gov. Mike Huckabee says he’s not afraid of risking his political future by speaking out against a recent immigration raid at an Arkadelphia poultry plant even though calls to his office have been “about 1,000 to one” against his stance.
...
“It seems like immigration is not the most popular issue in the world to take a stand on but we are talking about kids,” English said. “It looks like the federal government is being a great bully and these people are not committing great crimes. The outcome is these people don’t have their mom or dad.”
Friday, Huckabee said his repeated calls to Immigration and Customs and Enforcement officials about the raid have gone unanswered and he has asked the Bush administration to investigate the circumstances of the raid.
Here’s one. I am sure there are more.
"Pretty soon, Southern white guys like me may be in the minority," Huckabee said jokingly as the crowd roared in laughter.
The Republican governor, who many believe will run for president in 2008, also backed legislation that would have opened the door for illegal immigrants in Arkansas to receive college scholarships.

He's a good guy but he's just not my cup of tea. Being a conservative with wide streaks of libertarianism in me, I just want a President who'll cut my taxes, secure the borders, and leave me the Hell alone.
He has no chance of ever getting the nominatin so why even discuss him.
Oh, he’s not stupid enough to call for open borders...anymore. In the past...Now he’s using the same language as mccain and Rudy and Bush. watch where he starts to call it a pathway to citizenship....

watch as he denies it’s amnesty because he insists they pay restitution first (money for government coffers of course that he’d gladly use to support his nanny state) and insists they work. Then they get amnesty that he won’t call amnesty.
