Hi everyone....I'm here again asking for prayer for another tiny baby AND HER MOMMY.
Some of you got to know Philip and Monica through this thread 10-ounce baby.
Well, they had a little baby girl, Kaydance Noel, on September 24. She WAS due to be delivered in December but due to complications on Mom's part, she was taken early.
An update on Kaydance........she is off the vents, she just has CPAP, and is mostly on room air only. And she has been since Day 2!!!! She's being fed up to 3 cc's every two hours and is tolerating her feedings very well. I THINK she was 26 weeks, almost to the day, weighing in at 1 pound 9 ounces...Logan's weight....
For those of us who need a visual, that's the equivalent of 6 cubes of butter. Her prognosis sounds very good!!! THANK YOU GOD!!!
Monica.....was in the same hospital as Kaydance but was moved Wednesday or Thursday to a different hospital due to problems she's having. She's in ICU, due to a medical complication that the doctors still haven't figured out. They are, thru the process of elimination, ruling different things out.
She has a bad rash on her body, there was no mention of high blood pressure, although we don't know for sure. She WAS Pre-Eclamptic, which caused her blood pressure at that time to skyrocket, making it deadly for her AND Kaydance during the pregnancy.
The rash is starting to go away, although she has horrible abdominal pains.
Dad? He's a nervous wreck and could sure use our prayers too as he's having to go to two hospitals daily, for the two women in his life. We hear that he's now won Husband of the Year Award as he's been diligently cleaning that house from top to bottom so Monica doesn't have to do ANYTHING when she comes home.
She's not seen her baby since the day she left that hospital....
So! If you will be so kind as to join me in welcoming Kaydance Noel to the world, and join me in prayer that this precious child is able to come home to her (clean!) house....and PLEASE pray that Monica can heal of WHATEVER this is....and Dad...for his peace of mind and for the wisdom to know what to do....
They're a precious young couple, who I pray have nothing but the BEST in life.

Thank you!! She did really seem to enjoy the pool!! I can’t wait until she is big enough to enjoy it like we do.
She is doing great. She now weighs over 10 pounds!! She is really a great baby!! She is getting so wild now. She is on the go constantly. She isn’t crawling but is trying and she has learned to scoot pretty well. Plus she bucks trying to get out of your lap, LOL!!! I’ll more pics soon.

Hello all!! So . . Kaydance went for her developemental appointment. They said that she is meeting all of her milestones. The only thing they really said that she needed to work on was sitting up better. In order to do that, she has to have more tummy time which she absolutely hates (maybe because of the ostomy . . who knows). No walkers or Johnny Jump-ups. She has a big head which they said was good because it meant her brain was growing. They also encouraged me to read to her more. But other than that, they said she is looking great. Oh . . and they also said that with most preemies they usually are stiff (like in her arms and legs) but she has none of that which is a good thing.
So overall, a great appointment. We go back in 6 months. She will see that doctor again and also a physical therapist.

Hello everyone!! I hope you all are doing good.
My sweet princess is doing great. She now weighs 11 pounds 7 ounces. She still isn’t crawling but she will stand if you help her (and take little steps if you help her). She is a fireball!! I love it . . She is just very spoiled and knows it (and is taking advantage already, LOL). She goes back to the surgeon next month and hopefully we will get a surgery date. Kaydance and I are both sick of the bag. She looks like she is playing the air guitar all the time because she is always scratching at it. I am thankful for it though because she has really been doing great since she has had it.
Also next month, she will be 1-year-old!! Can you believe it?!!!! It’s SO hard to believe. We have came a long way. She may be the littlest 1-year-old ever but that’s okay!! I’ll try to post some new pictures soon.

Hey guys!! It’s been a minute, LOL!! Kaydance is doing great weighing in close to 13 pounds. We now have a surgery date to reverse the ostomy so we are excited. The only bad thing is it is scheduled for the day after her birthday with her being admitted on her birthday. But we are going to have her birthday party on the 20th so she can celebrate a little early.
She is so bad . . . but so sweet too, LOL!! I’ll post some pictures soon. We just had some pictures made for her birthday but they won’t be back until the 22nd.

It’s from yesterday..(Tuesday)...so the surgery is TOMORROW (THURSDAY) and TODAY (Wednesday) is KAYDANCE’S BIRTHDAY!

Kaydance is doing absolutely great. She is growing like a weed. She weighs a little over 13 pounds now. She will be 1 tomorrow. We had her birthday party this past weekend and it was great. She got SO much stuff!! She isn’t exactly crawling yet . . well . . she crawls backwards if that counts. But she can definitely get to where she wants to go. She just lays down and starts rolling. She will take steps if you help her.
Tomorrow (her birthday) she is being admitted to the hospital with surgery planned for Thursday, the 25th. She is having her ostomy reversed . . So no more pooping out of her side, LOL!!! This is a really good thing but it still makes me nervous because I definitely don’t want to see her in pain like that again. Hopefully this will be the last surgery. We just have to pray that her plumbing will work right and she can be a normal baby finally. Well . . . She’ll never be a “normal” baby because she is a princess, ha ha!!
I will write another blog once we get home from the hospital. The doctor said that hopefully she will only be in there for about a week (or less).
