Polaris Industries Inc. has completed first production of and received orders from the US Department of Defense for its newest military vehicle, the MV800 4X4 ATV. The MV800 is Polaris first vehicle featuring a new 760cc, 30kW (40 hp) twin-cylinder 4-stroke engine utilizing a newly developed air-assisted direct-injection combustion system.
What do you think of this? http://www.americanagility.com/
Jesse Strong was beside Karl when they got hit. Jesse’s Uncle has been trying to get this potential combat vehicle noticed.
Check out the link at Post #21. This looks like an outstanding little machine!
The Corps is using a Kawa MC with multifuel engine. I want to know when I can get mine......
An up-armored Segway?
It was pretty cool having a rough prototype unloaded and driven around in our front yard one night...
My younger son is in one of the videos...
Not really an armored Segway, though a balancing or lifting mechanism is within the realm of possibility. I think that was an illustration of a barrier-hopping function. It can be configured as 2-wheel-drive or 4. It’s sort of a modular platform with pieces-parts that can be swapped out.
And what was his opinion? : )
BTTT

You are welcomed Sir. Thanks for sending it to all the diesel enthusiast.
I was still riding dirt bikes, when those things were first starting to get big. I always thought people were crazy riding those things.
Yes, I know they can carry a load that you can’t on a motorcycle.
Awesome !!
His opinion was to make a few of these things, give them to our young military personnel, and let them beat them up. If something comes of it, fine. We don’t need to go through an agonizing 10 year process with all the big contractors and turn this into a main battle tank. Try it. If it’s useful and fast to field, fine. Otherwise, move on.
Smart young man. The big question is, was it as fun as it looked?
