Bipartisanship means compromise.
As my Congressman so aptly put, to compromise or negotiate means you have to give something up in return, and often what is given up is worse than what you gain in return.

And I hate to say it but it is true he will make more money I cannot see him giving up things he would have to if he was VP that at present bring him in a fortune.

My guess is it’s probably a three way race now between Fred as the only true Conservative, Romney’s money and Rudy’s universal appeal.
No telling which way it will go.

My daughter has been working out there this summer, she is working as a wrangler on a dude ranch in Jackson, living one of her dreams. She says its getting way too cold (already in the 20’s in the mornings), but some of the pictures she has sent are so beautiful.

Exactly, that why the rats never compromise unless they absolutely have to.

You or me boycotting the Olympics is fine. What is not is the US government forcing non-participation on athletes who have worked and trained for years to achieve a goal of excellence.

I just came home from the Tetons yesterday. Went to Yellowstone for 5 days, then stayed in Jackson for a week. Absolutely breathtaking. And yes, it was COLD! I am glad we are having a bit of Indian summer here in PA and I got home in time for the tail end of it. : )

I thought that the other day when I saw him he looks ill I think he trying to do more than his health will allow which is not a good thing actually for Hilliary because in the US the President’s spouse is a much more important figure than our Prime Minister’s wife. You expect the President’s wife to have various projects and accompany their wife/husband on most overseas visits Bill is showing signs that he will not be up to doing this. He is trying to show by doing this at present he can but it is making him ill and in the long run IMHO could damage Hilliary.

It just gets better and better. Democrats think nothing of trashing any group who they don’t agree with. They can’t just disagree, they have to lash out at them and bash them.

Great point. I wish more Republicans would understand this.
To: rodguy911
I agree the more he does and the more he appears on TV the worse he looks as I said before you expect a lot from your President’s spouse he looks as if he could not live up to your country’s expectations.
