TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said its defense troops have launched a new system which brings all movements in the Persian Gulf and the Straight of Hormoz under Iran's online control.
The system called 'Hod Hod' (Hoopoe) has been designed by IRGC experts and provides the Iranian troops with the possibility to monitor even the subtlest moves on the surface or in the air.

I’m sure Iran’s new Russian sea defense system works as well as the Russian air defense system recently sold to Syria. LOL!

OPINION:
The new system’s title reminds me of hip deep in B.S (farm talk).
So, I hope the new system is as effective as Syria’s.
Propaganda — another day.

The U.S. Navy has discovered a way to look through solid steel. They call it “Project Porthole”. A related project to allow a man to pass through a solid steel bulkhead is called “Project Hatch”.
