Most Americans understand it takes an extra chromosome to run for President, but there are some limits on odd behavior......"That was just weird," one NRA audience member told the New York Post.......Mr. Giuliani doesn't need more weird.

The phone call was weird Rooty showing contempt for the NRA and its deeply-held values.
The NRA's belief in the US Constitution---and our sacred RTKBA---is anathema to Rooty and the Rudesters.

Giuliani on why he initiated NYC lawsuits blaming firearms mfg for criminal misuse of guns: "At the time, as mayor I was taking advantage of every law and every interpretation of law I could think of to reduce crime," he whined. Adding, "I probably think that lawsuit probably has gone in a direction that I probably don't agree with at the moment, probably." Translation: "I probably don't agree with it at the moment because I want your votes, you dimwitted knuckle-dragging gun nuts".........." sucking up to you right-wing rednecks will get me the votes I desperately need....when I get elected, I can nail your stupid gun rights with federal power."

When speaking about the Second Amendment: "The people shall be secure..." RING-RING
Way too coincidental.
This gaffe in front of the NRA is HUGE.

I have read a couple of blogs that suggest it was not his latest mistress/wife calling but rather a very nervous campaign worker trying to get him to stop confusing the second and fourth Amendments in front of the NRA.
Seriously, why would a Presidential candidate be carrying a phone while giving a speech MUCH LESS have it turned on?

Hey, if Rooty can lie about supporting the Second Amendment, I can lie and pretend I’m gonna vote for him.

Remember Pataki.
NRA touted him as the RKBA-saving alternative to Cumo in NY.
He won.
Things got a LOT worse.

There wasn’t time to pull that off. I heard the clip; any “handler” wouldn’t have even had time to push “send” in response before it started ringing, much less actually allow connection processing time.

Remember, Fred preceded Rooty at the NRA event and made the comment about how his wife would make a better First Lady than Bill Clinton. Rooty figured he'd better somehow mention Judi. Can't be outdone by a real pro-gun conservative. LOL
>>>>>Mr. Giuliani has run an impressive campaign so far, especially on the issues.
Horsefeathers! He's lied and obfuscated his record. Like A.Schwarzy, Rooty`s nothing but a faux conservative. A liberal RINO!

So he's not sure what he thinks or what he agrees with. But he wants to be President.

Sounds like he’s got Clinton type advisors on his campaign team. They too were unable to make “spontaneous” moments look spontaneous.

Yeah-—like the guy who sued a politican for not keeping a campaign promise.
Judge threw out the suit saying only an idiot would believe a campaign promise.

LOL, now I’m Roflmao. Well, some in the oval office have had that kind of, well, you know! Yeah, Jooty is just a little too important if he can’t wait to finish a speech before talking to her. Seems like Jooty has him by the nose...

A succinct summary. I think Rudi is a second-rate hack of a lawyer. If they had a debate and asked him to name the amendments in the Bill of Rights, I bet he couldn't do it.
